If I thought I could be wrong, I wouldn't be certain, and that just ruins the whole point I was making about uncertain people being stupid and me not being one of those people. It doesn't always, of course, no, how could it, but with me, hm, yes, it does. I'm certain because I'm always right and I'm certain of that. Funny how it works, don't you think?

I do not believe I ever said I was speaking solely about yourself. I was describing people in general, and I can assure you there are a great many people who can be very certain and very wrong at the same time.

If they're uncertain at all it's the same thing, it means they're not smart enough to be certain, so they're average at best, which, in the end, isn't all that far from stupid.

For most it takes knowledge to be certain, so in that way I can see your point. However it is difficult to have full knowledge of everything no matter how one tries. I suppose for the average person the only thing we can hope for is to keep gaining more knowledge so that there is less chance for uncertainty.
