Well there is Madame Webb, like three Spider Women, the Spider Society, those weird alien spiders, Scarlet Spider, Spidey and yours truly.

I was going by Araña, but Spider-Woman...well, one of them, although I think she's the only one now, she kinda christened me as Spider-Girl, and people wouldn't stop calling me like that so what could I do?

Yeah...you lost me. The only Goblin's butt I have kicked is Hogoblin's, and I'm pretty sure you weren't around.

I still think there's some weird parallel universe mishap going on.

First time it happens to me. This is when it would come in handy to have one of those brainy types around, but alas.

Me, I've always figured it's better not to ask where the webline's anchored. It's like those 3-D pictures that we used to play with as kids -- well, that I used to play with, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and not everybody had an Xbox or a Kinect or whatever -- try too hard and it'll disappear.

I was going to make a witty comment about how is nice that there are no longer dangerous things flying around...but I think I'll pass.

What am I up to? Oh, you know, the usual. Walls and ceilings, mostly; the occasional water tower, sometimes a news chopper if I need to get somewhere quickly.

Pretty boring then, huh?

I've noted how almost everyone -or was it everyone- talking here comes from the same place...looks like a big, crowded hero city.

I'm told it's what's known as a "jamjar," and I can believe it. On the plus side, if I had to be kidnapped by a rogue AI and dumped in an alternate universe, there are worse places to get stuck than not-quite-New York City. It's pretty relaxing, too -- we only get major world threats once every couple of months or so.

Huh, sounds like a pretty chill place, all in all. I don't think I would be okay to leave my turf unprotected though.

Already thought of. When we go home we get sent back to the same moment we left -- without any memories that would let us alter the timeline, either. Which is ... both good and bad, really.
