Looking For A Home

okay!
so i know i should be supporting and friendleadering you out of this...
but if it's not too much trouble, mun, in the most friendly non-ordery way possible!
could we actually do something?

i guess it's kind of understable that you don't want to return to the other game.
and i know that second wasn't too great a fit.
but hey!
we left behind a lot of close friends, and well...
i'm bored!

... and i guess i kind of miss everyone!
heck, even karkat would be cool to listen to right now, heheh.

... so?

Hi John.
Apparently I'm somewhat rare compared to others in this particular corner of the internet.
I haven't quite discerned why that might be, but I've decided to take it as a compliment.

So uninterested you've warped back around to a strange nether-place where you're interested again?
A sort of proto-interest wherein you can compete with Strider's disinterest while remaining attentive to your own varied distractions?

I think perhaps I should leave the word choice up to you, John.
I'd hate to be responsible for the stunting of your vocabulary by providing too many shortcuts.
But thank you.
A girl likes to be told she's special.

So assuming your reverse double reacharound of disinterest doesn't cause you to implode, or Strider to beat you up, what are you hoping your mun finds for you to do?

Karkat's...Moirail, I think you mean? Terezi?
The blind girl with the tendency towards vaguely unsettling licking?
Not that I am discounting the possibility that you encountered Karkat's single-railed above air transportation system, of course.
I don't discount any possibilities here.

I do see Jade from time to time, you'll probably run into her eventually.
But Dave and Karkat seem to dominate the field.
And yourself, of course.
Can't have too many derpy boys in ridiculous pajamas, it seems.

I'm afraid I probably can't recommend where I am at the moment, then.
There's pretty much just me and handful of trolls I rarely see.

The nuances of troll culture are still something I am piecing together.
But you're probably right, Terezi did seem more like a...girlfriend...when I spoke with her.
I may not have encountered his moirail then.
Now I'm rather curious about it...

Oh yes.
Truly are we lost without our friendleader and his courage in our time of greatest need.
We are doomed to scatter like embers in a dying fire.
Never to flare up again without your illustrious presence.

'Dumb' does not even begin to describe it, honestly.
It's a city of endless night filled with prisoners taken from various universes and left there.
To survive or perish, it seems.
My mundane refers to it as a 'horror' game, but that seems too trite to really quantify my distaste for the entire situation.
For lack of a more accurate phrase, it's just plain awful.

...But I would not mind the company.
I suppose.

I'll see what sort of flattery supply I can arrange for you.
I most likely won't be maintaining it myself, of course.
But I'm certain we can outsource it to some suitably bootlicker or yes-man.

Mun's do have a lot of 'things' which don't really make much sense.
Mine keeps hoping to drag yourself and the others into Abax despite the fact that it would be far more efficient to simply send me home.
But they're...persistent.

If you would like to, as I said, I...would not mind.
But it's not a pleasant place, I'm not certain I want any of you to come there, regardless of whether it would be a comfort.
sarcasticseer: (A moment of stillness)

Oh wow. Thank you very much! Uhm. Apps open next week I think?.

[personal profile] sarcasticseer 2012-03-29 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
My mun tried a similar game.
In that the first place I was dumped was the old west, trapped in a 'flighty broad wagon' with several other women in the middle of a convoy traveling the Oregon Trail.
Compared to Abax, that was actually rather pleasant, really.
Aside from the lack of bathrooms, which I will never speak of again.

If you want out of your comfort zone, a city of endless night where you wake up in a almost naked in a morgue would certain qualify.
I can at least assure you there is very little in the way of Betty Crocker Baking, if that would help to ease your worry?
sarcasticseer: (Actually excited!)

Oh man, good luck.

I am afraid it is my sad duty to report a paucity of gushers in the city of Abax.
During my time there, I have not found a single box of them.
Or even a suitably less flavorful knockoff.

You should be careful what you are getting yourself into, regardless of fruit based confections, John.
