But please, could it be a place where I could be with my children? Of course I know Robert is five and ten and Stannis three and ten, but no matter what anyone says, they are still children. And Renly is a little babe. As commendable as is Maester Cressen's work with their education, they need their mother.

(ooc: I plan to send the mods a link once I have everything gathered, to see if they would approve me apping her -since I apped my first character there in this last round I've been sort of following the game and mostly the Baratheon shenaningans. In fact it was Stannis's last broadcast mind post that gave me the impulse to create it- In fact I am even analysing their mentions in "A Clash of Kings" to give more bulk and a sort of personality to them, because so far the most I have are dates. Also, long OOC note is terribly long)

No, there are quite a few people from home present. The Lannisters -- Cersei, Jaime, and Tyrion, most of Ned Stark's family -- Joffrey, too, and his Dog, and the Targaryen girl. Among others.

Ah, so the children of Lord Tywin, the son of Lord Rickard and his family, my grandson [this said with a doubtful tone], a Clegane, and...a Targaryen girl? Did Aerys have a daughter and we weren't told about this?

I was willing to parlay with him, until we could rout the Lannisters and settle the North, but -- [A shrug.] It did not happen.

Aye, and if you had been there perhaps Rhaegar would have had a lady wife, not set his sights on Lyanna Stark, and then Robert would be lord of Storm's End.

Lyanna Stark? The daughter of Lord Rickard? Robert was to wed her? [That was actually a good choice of bride, in spite of the fact that his father would have prefered for Robert to be bethroted to a girl of the Stormlands. So color her impressed.]
Yes, but even if we had, we found no bride for Rhaegar in the Free Cities. So only the gods know what would have happened.
Still, as I said, there is no use in me getting angry, as it won't change things.

It is very queer, though I like it well enough. There are all kinds of strange metal things, and you can converse with a person by way of a mechanical box. My lady wife,, Ser Loras, and Robert and Stannis and Shireen are all there.

A mechanical box? That certainly sounds queer. But if you all are there, then I certainly agree with my mundane that it's a most fit place for me to go.
