[He laughs.] Uncle Renly isn't a babe. He's old. And father and uncle Stannis are really, really old.

Cassana. [She nods and then says fondly] You truly look like your father. At least when he was your age.

I am his mother. And your grandmother, or so it seems.

Grandmother?! [Blank stare.] Truly? You are my father's mother?

Yes, it is. I've met father here. And Uncle Renly and Uncle Stannis. I'm sure you will too.

[She nods, biggest of smiles ever. Because really, she certainly loves the fact that she has a grandson and that he's so much like Robert. Or what she remembers of him.]

You're really pretty. I thought grandmothers were supposed to have lots of wrinkles and gray hair. I was wrong.

It won't work. They both think they're kings but they're not. My father is the true king.

You said that your father is the king. [IHHO the idea of her (not-so) bitty Robert being king is, well, strange to her. As so is hearing that both Stannis and Renly style themselves as such.] Do you know what happened to the previous one, King Aerys?

He was killed by Jaime Lannister after he went mad. Then father became king. [Edric looks down, wondering if he should tell her the next bit of information or not.]

[She's certainly surprised. She remembers her last visit with Steffon to King's Landing and the audience with the King. Aerys was certainly an intimidating presence and even scared her a bit. But he was Steffon's cousin.And she had to accept everything that came with it.]
