The Rams being blown out by Arizona makes you think of me. My ex-hometown football team being humiliated on national television makes you think that bringing me back out is a good idea. I guess I should be happy but really I'm kind of mortified. Like anyone else is going to want to talk about the disastrous state of the team with me anyway.

If it makes you happy I'll vent for a little bit but don't be surprised if this doesn't mean anything. There are reasons I got mothballed you know. Very good-looking and valid reasons.

I don't think I'm over it yet. I feel sort of bereft without a football team to root for. And then I feel self conscious for being so worked up about it.

It's not weird? I mean I feel like it's weird. I'm taking this worse than I took my last breakup.

Not weird at all. Being passionate about sports is nothing to feel weird about.

I work in the control room of a sports show. It's a dream job.

We are just made that way here in Memphis. Sure we get some bad apples but all in all we are good people.

LA sounds like a madhouse. I've been to places like that, was so glad to go back home to Memphis.

I worked there for awhile, it was. The only good thing about it was my ex. At least our breakup was better than the Rams coaching situation.

At least the season's over. So what's a handsome guy like you do in the off season?

Try and plan the next, seek out new players. Fix what was wrong or try. Maybe see about a social life.

The job must keep you really busy. Although as someone who dated a baseball player for three years it can be done. [Smirks a little thinking of something.]
