Voice Test, finally putting this journal to use \o/ looking at driftfleet
You can't be serious... a land of ships? That's all well and good but what of it? And what do you mean to do with me there? I am not your plaything or theirs. I won't go anywhere without my dragons.
[Though technically she only has Drogon, at present, but details.]
[Though technically she only has Drogon, at present, but details.]

hey gurl hey
Also, you'll be on the fleet for the entertainment of some dubious audience. So your mun may be the least of your concerns.
heeey <33
And what would they have me do to entertain them? I'm not some fighter in a pit and I don't take kindly to being shuffled around like some kitchen mouse.
[However, if she speaks truthfully then she can only believe this girl at her word, even if she doesn't like what she has to say.]
What of my dragons? What will be done to them?
no subject
[Lady why are you even KEEPING DRAGONS??]
I... they will not be with you. Small flying metal things in space are not conducive habitation for dragons. Fortunately, they will be fine in your absence. Time freezes while you're in the fleet. I've been assured that once you're sent home, it'll be like you were never gone.
no subject
I see.
[She relaxes some, though only by a margin. She's still not the 'go quietly' type. At least, this assures her that her dragons - and the Mereenese - will be safe.]
These ships - the fleet... they fly? How is that possible?
no subject
I could not say how they fly. It is of technology and inventions far beyond anything we have where I'm from.
no subject
Some sort of magic, perhaps? All the same, why cram so many people onto them? Should there be a mutiny, who would handle that?
[Questions that may be useful answered later.]
They stop at different worlds, what's to stop them from returning me in the first place?
no subject
[She shrugs.]
Hard to say. I've never heard of one happening. People can transfer ships, though, so I imagine if there's an issue, people would just get moved around.
I don't think they stop at anyone's home world. Why they bring people in when they do and why they send them home seems to be random. Could be just whenever they feel like it, or something else going on that we're not privy to.

[The lack of dissent in the ranks is troublesome, however. Clearly she'll have her work cut out for her. Or she'll end up as browbeaten as the rest of them. That was not an appealing outcome, but it was certainly the least violent one.]
Who rules over the fleet? I mean to negotiate with them, as best I can. if possible.
no subject
[She shakes her head.] No one, really. I mean, it would be Atroma, the entity or organization or... whatever that brings us to the fleet. But there is no known way of contacting them.
no subject
[Mun... she already doesn't like you this is not winning you over.]
This Atroma lies hidden while we all do their bidding and are made into fools for others' entertainment.
[That's about the jist of it?]

[People who aren't going to try and kill her? That doesn't sound terrible.]
What of yourself? Should I count you among them?
[She gives a soft smile, though hesitant. The only real 'friend' she had back home that wasn't solely tasked in advising her was Misandei.]
no subject
[She's not kidding. She befriended an assassin sent to kill her, a grumpy witch, and a golem, amongst others.]
no subject
[She doesn't want to wake up with a knife in her back!! She wants to know she can actually trust these people not to be the plotting sort that she's used to.]

[Hopefully something befitting of a princess of little skill beyond diplomacy and horse riding and walking around.]

[ he knows full well she doesn't mean actual ships, considering his mun's knowledge of the game she speaks of. that doesn't stop him. ]
no subject
[Which is clearly not a wish she will have granted, but she'll persevere. They were her children but she had the resilience of a dragon herself.]
would you like your bf back Daenerys?
heck to the yes?!
Shekh ma shieraki anni....
[She speaks softly, the breath stolen from her just by his presence. So much had happened, so many of her loyal Khalesaar had passed between her journey from the grassy plains of their home together and Mereen.]
Shekh ma shieraki anni.... you're-you're here as well. Surely this is another dream.
[Carefully she steps close to him, reaching up to feel what her eyes already know to be real. His face, the shape of it, was as real to her touch as it had been in her dreams.]

[It still makes her angry to be separated, but she's already locked two of them away. Drogon is all she has left.]
You're one of them, I take it? I don't care what I've been told - I mean to liberate as many as I can from these flying ships.
no subject
[ she queries the word with curiousity -- and with fear in equal measure. ]
no subject
Oh yes - dragons.
[She enunciates the word similarly to how this girl says it, smiling proudly to herself]
I'm told that the three of them will be too large for the flying ships.
no subject
There is barely room for us aboard.
no subject
[ Seriously, flying ships???? So strange to her, even after having it explained.]
I've ridden ships in water before, but not in the sky.

[She's probably done badgering this girl for answers, but it's nice to talk to someone who actually knows of ships that she's familiar with and seems close to her in age - though younger.]

I see. I'm only curious what sort of place my writer means to send me. I have people who need me, where I am, and I'm told that time stops for them when I go. I don't know what that means completely, in truth, but I want to help others where I can. I want to liberate any who are unhappy in the fleet.
[Same story different place, really. If she can bring a few allies under her wing then all the better.]
no subject
wow there's an obscure muse!! how cool
I am very cool!

[She's an exiled princess/khaleesi and she's pretty sure that's not how it works either.]
