'Ey. What gives, mun? Makin' me 'fly' because I stepped on a hidden jump spring? I'm an ARC Trooper, not some Shiny who's never set foot outside of Kamino. I shouldn't be makin' that many mistakes jus' 'cause it's a different setting.
[Echo shakes his head.]
Honestly. This is the second time I find out I can't keep my feet on th'ground...
I get how distractin' the whole city can be, but I should be used to its weirdness by now. There's so much t'look into an' research. I have the time t'spare now!
...Waitaminute, hold on there – what d'ya mean, "not this coming week"?
[Echo shakes his head.]

I do not disagree in that one should find out as much as one can about the terrain and layout of a new place, however.
...it seems your mundane has plans for you.

That's only the half of it, General. An' I'd take jumping from a transport over bein' launched into th'air any day.
While the city itself appears fairly normal, it's...basically alive. Somehow. There's never a dull moment in recon, at least.
[He sighs lowly, brow furrowing under the helmet.] Ah. That's what I'm worried about.

A living city- not in the usual sense? What an unusual situation you've found yourself in.
From what I've observed in places such as these, that seems to normally be the case when it comes to the plotting of the mundane. Sometimes, we can do nothing more than trust that they will use their better judgment.
no subject
I've only heard about the practice before. Never thought I'd actually be pulled into th'whole plotting business, much less wonder what kind of plotting this mun's able t'get herself into.
But when she – or any o'the other muns, for that matter – are doin' that, doesn't it distract from whatever they need t'be doing on their end?
no subject
Ah, that is something that must be constantly dealt with. Can you reach a compromise?
no subject
That's what they say. But sir – my purpose is to fight for the Republic on the battlefield. This is...this is far from it.
I'm tryin' to get to that point, but nothing seems t'be working.

Unfortunately some may be more stubborn than others. Is there any way I can be of assistance?
no subject
[Well, the Jedi are never wrong, right?]
Time seems t'be a major factor in this. I haven't been there as long as Fives has. But if I need to wait for it, then I might as well.
Heh. You're tellin' me. Thank you, sir, but I think I can handle her. We'll discuss it on the side.
no subject
Do not try to hurry things. Patience is always key.
...very well. At least you are capable of discussing it. Others may not have that luxury.

...This is startin' t'sound familiar. It's like I'm a cadet again.
I did realize that when I saw what the others who share the space have been through. Unlike what else I've heard about th'other mundanes, reason seems t'be something she listens to most of the time.
no subject
Ah, that is fortunate. So long as communication is possible, then not all is lost. Then I shall leave you to do what you must do.
no subject
Thank you, General Plo. Here's hopin' it gets through.
no subject
...may the Force be with you.

Even the most experienced of soldiers is capable of making mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them.
Though it seems your mun may be keeping you a bit busy to do much learning in the near future.
no subject
Yes, General. I'll make sure I do, 'though still doesn't excuse the fact I made them in the first place.
...I had a feeling it was turnin' out that way, sir.
no subject
[He's actually sort of impressed with how well you've been doing there so far, accidental flights notwithstanding. He's not there
yet, but his mun pays attention.]It does seem to be a common occurrence where mundanes are involved, doesn't it?
[He hasn't been a muse long enough for it to happen to him personally, but knows it's just a matter of time.]
no subject
It seems that way, sir. I dunno why it is.

Given the kinds of things I've heard can happen in 'memes', I should probably be glad of the reprieve, however temporary it may be.
no subject
I have an idea of what anyone can face there. Is there a point to any of it?
no subject
Others, however, are solely for the mundane's amusement.
no subject
Maybe I spoke too soon, sir. It looks like I'm sorta caught up in one of the 'memes' right now.

Hmm... I'm not entirely certain which category that meme falls into. Though I suspect it's the latter.
no subject
That's what I was afraid of.
no subject
At least it's a relatively harmless one?

[Hey, even Jedi Masters are allowed to get in a little bit of teasing now and then.]
no subject
There's nothing wrong with it, sir! I-it's a subject that never crosses my mind on a daily basis, that's all!
no subject
Well, perhaps this can be seen as a chance to expand your horizons, hmm?

[Fun fact; many Jedi Masters like to troll their subordinates now and then, but there's usually some teaching mixed in there if you pay attention.]
Still, I understand your reluctance. Romantic attachment is forbidden to Jedi, and while it is not so for clones to the best of my knowledge, neither is it encouraged by most officers.
no subject
It normally isn't, sir, and I'm glad you do understand. I suppose I'll just have to bare with it for th'time being, then.
no subject
These are hardly normal circumstances, yes. For either of us.
[Not gonna mention the fact that he's kind of dead back home, nope.]
Still, we can make the best of the situation. And potentially gain some valuable experience from it.
no subject
That seems to be th'most viable option now, general. I'll have t'see what happens, then.
no subject
As will we both. May the Force be with you, Echo.
