Well, here we are in a new and strange place...as always.

And such interesting people here, too. Hmm? Yes, I'm well aware you've gotten a better reception in games here in short order than in all your time at livejournal, and I'm more than willing to pass the compliment from your brain to my mouth - but we do have other things to discuss. Now, there's bound to be an Ace about somewhere. I would, of course, not at all mind seeing a familiar face.

[And keeping an eye on her, his friend, his pupil, his surrogate daughter in many ways.]

Well, time and tide melt the snowman. And I'd best be off. Somewhere, sometime, something is happening that I need to be a part of. Or that I'll at least prod my nose into. Let's go, mundane - once more unto the time vortex.

I'd worry about that. Just... ruining things. But I guess a print book couldn't get so ruined by sand, either.

I've got friends who're not. And... oh, yeah, if you want to let someone else read a print book, you actually have to give it to them! [He's surprised. Not much exposure to books that can't be put on datacards, this kid.]
