Look, I'm not bout ta...
[He trails off because those are some hot ladies wearing barely any clothes at all and that's OHGOD WHAT IS HAPPENING. WHY IS HE SUDDENLY ABLE TO REMEMBER DOING ...THINGS WITH THEM.
Except it's not him. It's distinctly not him.
He tries to cover his eyes except he doesn't have those anymore, and this is in his mind anyway and he can't block it out.]
Stop stop stop! I don't wanna see that!

[Have you never been with a woman?]
[Is he a virgin?]
[How sad!]
[Maybe he preferred men. I won't judge.]
[How very sad to die a virgin at 19 years. Most Outworlders had already started families by then. Ermac gives the young ladies one last appreciative glance, causing them to giggle, before turning his attention back to reaching his quarters.]

[No he hasn't. Not even close. The closest he got was a girl he was making out with who let him touch her breasts and even then she was still wearing a shirt.]
I just don't wanna see you, you know.. That's gross.
This sucks on ice.

[We'll know everything...in time.]
[He pauses again, this time to watch a sparring match out in the courtyard. There was a small crowd, like always, watching the combatants and taking bets. You took your entertainment where you could, especially since technology was rather primitive. No televisions to mesmerize the masses, so fights had to do. This one was particularly interesting; Kotal Kahn was apparently working with one of his officers.]
[We looked different back then. More...alive. We are celibate now.]
no subject
Dude, I used to think you were kinda alright.
no subject
[I tried. They know everything about me now.]
[We wish we didn't.]
[To his surprise, the combatant actually manages to trip up Kotal and pin him with a spear held to his throat. Well. He couldn't let some officer become too overconfident, could he? That was dangerous. It bred...ideas. Ermac strides into the training grounds, the crowd parting in front of him out of respect and fear.
The buzzing of the souls within him becomes quiet, far more focused in preparation for the fight.]
[We will see how useful you will be to us.]
[This probably won't hurt.]

Just wait till I respawn. I'm gonna beat the shit out of you. Let's see how good your psychic shit is against a scattergun blowing your brains all over tha pavement.
[He does notice the silence eventually]
Hey, where'd everyone go?
no subject
[This one lacked discipline. He'd need to fix that. For now, he adopts a traditional ninjitsu stance, openly challenging his opponent.]
[We are many warriors that fight as one, child. We are simply focused.]
[The Kahn gives the signal, and the fight begins. Ermac immediately draws on Scout's energy, borrowing his speed to dash in and trip up his opponent. His foe is good, there's no question about that since he does manage to get a few hits in, but Ermac makes him pay for every inch. With the addition of near inhuman speed to his already powerful psychic and martial abilities, he feels...unstoppable. He'd felt it before, but now...who could even hope to defeat him now?
Every blow he deals is precise and crippling, hampering the officer's ability to fight back. He knocks the man to his knees and kicks him hard enough to break his ribs. Ermac smirks smugly as the man struggles for breath on the ground. Victory.]

When everything slows down he takes a moment to recover, watching the man on the ground through Ermac's eyes.]
Aintcha gonna help him up?
no subject
[Pleased with his work, Ermac offers a respectful bow to the Kahn, then turns to leave. With luck, there would be a scout waiting for him with some new information about where some of the last rebels were hiding.
The other souls begins to murmur again, their conversations gradually building now that there's no need to focus.]
[We will make good use of your talents, child. You should be glad that they will be used for a worthy cause.]
[...So why did something feel a bit odd? It was almost like something something was fitting properly.]
no subject
[Okay, so samurai aren't ninja, but Scout doesn't know the difference, and no one thought Shinobi no-Mono was a good thing to bring to American theaters in the 60's for Scout to watch.]
Uh, no? Why would I be glad. I was using them just fine myself.
no subject
[Why can't he shake the feeling that something unpleasant is in his near future? It's ridiculous and a little distracting. He almost doesn't notice the distinctive tapping of chitin on stone approaching him from an adjacent hallway. When he does notice it, however, he immediately recognizes that D'Vorah is headed his way, and very likely has new orders for him. He'd listen any other day, but mental images of dealing with her while Scout chatters away flash through his mind.
He needed time to break this one's spirit. Just before he and his comrade would meet around the corner, Ermac draws on the spirits' energies to teleport into his private suite.
The suite is decorated with artifacts recovered from Shao Kahn's fortress and trophies taken from his more powerful foes. There's a map of Outworld spread on a table with various pins stuck into it, and books on battle strategy, cultural studies, and history fill a small library. One of the servants has left a platter of bread, exotic fruit, and clean water on a corner of the table not occupied by maps or notes.]
[We vanquish our enemies. You engaged in endless squabbles with them. Were you ever given a reason for all those battles?]
no subject
[The teleportation is vaguely disorienting, but Scout rallies. Nothing can stop him from talking, even death.]
Nah, I just make fat stacks of cash. But I didn't never beat someone up and leave 'em there. That's messed up man.
[Everything feels a little tingly and strange. He's not sure if it's because they just teleported, or if it was from the fact he was currently dead, but something felt really weird.]
Uh, dude. What are you even do --
[Sorry Ermac, the respawn is powerful, even across dimensions. Hope you enjoyed Scout's presence while you had it because he is currently being sucked back to the respawn area at his base and put back into his reconstructed body.]
