demeleier and searching for new games
Sooooo... it's... a yes? You're going to send me somewhere new. No joking.
EEEEE! THANK YOU, MUN! I am really -- Okay, kind of really excited. Because --
Ugh. Because while it's great that you're shopping around for new places? And while I'm really grateful for another chance to make friends and - and to live? I know you still want to send me to the fairy place. And I know. What the fairy place means.
But you know what? I'm just -- I'm not going to be intimidated! That's it! No more. I am done. Being frightened of you and your plotting. Totally, completely done.
Extremely done.
Super done even. That's how done I am. Super.

PS: DON'T DO IT

He's just not sure what to do. It's confusing. And what is she saying about a god?
He's not sure why, but something about her smile makes him really, really sad. But he still doesn't know what to say, so he nods. To show he's listening. And that he understands what she says, even if he only really grasps her words superficially. ]

This is the first thing she notices now; she's set herself up perfectly, intentionally, for a wry quip or a line of deadpan snark, both of which are usually followed, after she responds, by a slight lift of his eyes to show, as if she isn't sure, that he's kidding.
But he doesn't joke. Again: he doesn't say anything. And now the bemusement on her face turns into something not unlike worry. Her smile is fading fast. She moves close again, the hands at her hair reaching up and out, and finding his cheek, the slope of his shoulder and neck - familiar places, as she tries to look unperturbed. ]
Hey you. What's wrong?

And then he can't quite stop from tilting his head a little against her hand anyway, even as his expression remains neutral and his eyes shift back and forth across her face, betraying his confusion and uncertainty. And the very fact that he doesn't reach out for her as well rings strongly of how things aren't quite right. ]
I... don't know. I'm sorry. [ He wants to ask her her name and everything about her, but he doesn't. He wants to ask her his name, since she seems to know him, but he doesn't ask that either. ]

The only way to keep it back is to think of what she knows, the familiar. So she starts by recounting his colors, the different shades of their bond. The white of snow on his shoulder after she'd fallen from the tree. The shifting blue-grey making up his eyes. ]
Minato where...were you before this?

... is that his name?
He mouths the syllables thoughtfully before it occurs to him that he ought to actually answer her question. And so he opens his mouth again to respond but then stops, instead just looking at her eyes quietly, distracted.
It is only after several long moments pass that he remembers to answer again. ] ... the seal. [ It's all he can really think to answer. ]

She actually doesn't show very much in the way of shock. What appears on her face is surprise tapering down to mild surprise that sits even with understanding and pain and still that subtle, slightly wounded (but not enough to warrant any comment or thought) confusion. What appears is lips pressed together and eyes everywhere but on him and a nod. ]

He thinks he must have said the wrong thing again. ]
I'm sorry. I've been there -- a long time.

No, it's - ! It's fine. [ Rapunzel smiles at him and squeezes him a little against her hands. Or should she not do that? How much does he remember? How "long" a time has it been? ]
Do you...know where you're at?
