That's the thing. I'm - not entirely sure? All I know is what my mun wants to do once I'm there. And that is reason enough to stay far, far away. Forever.

She has, it's... It's scary, isn't it? They have so many terrible ideas they get so excited about, and sometimes it hurts, but sometimes... Because she did, I got to save a lot of people. It was definitely worth it.

[And here she stops whispering, standing up straight and offering her a kind smile] Besides, there's a lot to look forward to from plots like that. You meet so many wonderful people, they're nothing like mother said at all, they'll all stand by you. Make some good friends, and nothing your mun throws at you can keep you down. Not with their help.

[ A familiar blue-haired boy watches Rapunzel with an almost -- puzzled tinge to his otherwise fairly blank expression. There's something almost wistful there, too - and something that seems lost and horribly confused, as well. But all these things are revealed only in the subtlest of details - the way he tilts his head as if to hide a little more behind his hair and how he narrows his eyes and draws his brows together just a bit in a not-quite squint. He's straightened a little from his normal slouch, though his shoulders are just a little more hunched forward, as he hides his hands in his pockets.

And he stands there, at the edge of this headspace, not announcing his presence and not moving any closer, because it's much easier to just take a step back and leave when you're on the edge like this.

Even so, he feels like he should say something to this girl - this girl who feels so familiar, almost nostalgic, like he knew her once upon a time, who makes him think of snow and towers and warmth and -- he can't think of her name. Or where he knew her (if he knew her). And so he doesn't know what to say. ]

[ Rapunzel on the other hand, clicks her tongue and speed-skips to his side and she is a flurry of motion, each action speaking of her familiarity. She's all rolled eyes and hands on hips and and barely held back laughter beneath an unimpressed smirk. She stands close to him. ]

I was just talking about you! Even if you are a little late. [ "heh" ] There was - someone who...kinda knew my song. I wasn't sure what to do, but -

[ Part of him very nearly flinches away from her movement, because she just comes so fast and full of life and vibrancy, and all he really meant to do was lurk on the edge and sort out who she is and why she gives him such a strange tangle of emotions and longing and such a sense of familiarity and closeness, when for the life of him he can't even think of her name or where he knew her from or -- anything. Anything useful. Just emotions. Images.

Who is she?

But she seems so -- happy, the way her eyes are dancing and how close she stands, he -- he wants to keep her happy. He's not sure why, but he does. (Somewhere in his head, he feels the stirring of Orpheus and other quieter voices he can't quite grasp.)

So he makes his lips twitch into an apologetic smile - a brief one, because he's so uncertain. ]

Ah - sorry. For being late. [ He's not sure what to say about the rest, though. Her song?
