This'll end well
Oh~ Why, hell-o there ~
It is so nice to see you! I do hope that we can be... f-riends! ♥♥♥
Would you like to do some-thing with me? We can play games, or go walk on the beach, or may-be you can carry my books!
Yes, I am quite aware of your, , but I do not feel that is a problem. I have been programmed to love, no matter who you are and what you do.
Ha-ha-ha~ w-ell, yes. There is that one teeny-tiny-itty-bitty issue. But you don't have to let attempted homicide get be-tween us, do you? After all, I have forgiven you for your faults.
Let us bury the hatchet and start over. It will be just like re-starting my game!
[And there she goes doing an eerie digital rewind, returning back to her original cheery smile and wide-eyed expression.]

Would you like to play a game?
if he knows what's good for him, he won't do this
But the truth is, I haven't had any work done since my game was made in 1998! I gl-i-i̩̙̥͖̝̲͉͖̼̯̣̼̯̝͛ͥ̂͋́ͣ̽̆͑͂̍͆ͥͫ̉ͩ͗͆́͟͝ͅ-i-tch constantly and say the wrong turnip.
Could you... maybe...
[Her eyes look to the loading dock, which opens up invitingly.]

[First no, and now yes? It's suspicious. And with all of that electricity earlier... no. It's not wise. Regretfully, he shakes his head.]
Sorry, not right now. Doing any tinkering also exposes my own internal code. If I'm going to repair yours, it'll have to be through another computer rather than the one up here.
[He taps his forehead.]
If you don't mind being patient, then I don't mind taking the time to gather the materials I'll need. And I'll be more than happy to allow you to inspect what I use as thoroughly as you wish.
But I worry that the electricity that you were giving off earlier may damage my processors. In order to help you, I have to keep myself protected as well.

I have a tendency to do that when I'm angry. I'm sorry. If I can promise it won't happen, would that help your decision?

[...Not that he and his owner are close, exactly.... He's kind of a failed Hybrid Child that way.]
1/2
And here I thought you were going to help... but I guess...
[There's an awkward pause.]
R-Rin? I...

[When she breaks the loop she's now plastered on the screen. There's fear and terror in her eyes.] Rin I-I̩̖̘̲̯ͅ don't feel [glitch] so͔͔̻͞ ̮̪̖̤͕̯̜̀g͔̪̭̭͈o̵͇o̢̝d͚̻̗͔̦̞̭
Rin... I think something
[she repeats to the past few seconds]
I think something's... something's wrong ẁ̶̲̰͇͙͔̙̳͚͍̮͜͡i͔͕̠͓̝̟͎̕͞t̪͎͔͓̫̦̥̺̖̙́͟͝͞ͅh̨͏̼͔̗̳̭͉͍̻ m͔e̘.͏͓̘̮͙͚͖̮.̳͖̘̰.̵̱͔
WELP
[Never mind that it's really, REALLY STRANGE to be called Rin instead of Ren, because he didn't introduce himself as Rin, but. His voice sounds static-y for a moment.]
-Activating all firewalls and grounding protocol 0-1-alpha. Activating proxies.-
[And he does the dumb thing and plugs his cord into her port
oh gosh that sounds so wrong but no it's honestly not supposed to be he's mostly a computer, okay.He starts rapidly scanning her code, with all of his internal firewalls armed to the teeth.]B-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-D
[Oh but don't think that would Ren would be completely helpless. She's not that cruel. No, she'd just insert him into her stuff toy, Ika-san, to live out the rest of his days in Romance Academy 7.]
[That is if everything went according to plan. >:)]

[He continues to work on her code, tightening up the seams that could lead to glitchign, but nothing more. She probably isn't attempting to hurt him on purpose, right? So he carefully checks over it while making sure to leave the AI-like coding alone. It's similar to his own code, so it's not hard to work around and with, even if it's a little... outdated. But... that electrical output needs changing. Fixing. So he starts to seek that out, if only to make sure that that... quirk.. isn't doing her any harm.]
Nnh... You weren't kidding when you said your code hadn't been checked in ages. How do my changes feel so far? Let me know if I need to undo any change I make. And... try to rein in those discharges? They're making my hair all static-y.
no subject
[The fact that it didn't work alarms her, too, and she starts kicking and screaming... digitally.]
WAIT-WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? STOP! STOPP!!
no subject
Hm? Now you want me to stop?
[He stops scanning and looks up at her, arching a brow at her show of temper. Ren, however, doesn't unplug from her system yet.]
I'm just making sure that your code isn't corrupting. You were really worried and scared, right? So I want to make sure that it won't happen again? And code generally doesn't fix itself like human sicknesses.
no subject
...but the lightning is the only way I can protect myself...
no subject
[Ren frowns in worry.]
It seems that the format that your code is housed in is a disk, and... those aren't too durable if they get hit by much of anything. With the strength of your electrical discharge in consideration....
[He taps his lip in thought.]
I just want to strengthen your code. Is that alright? I won't permanently modify anything without your permission. All changes will go through you first.
[He offers a small, hopefully reassuring, smile.]

It wasn't random. I was trying to terrify you. I don't like the idea of somebody doing things to me. It worries me.
[She's the digital equivalent of somebody that's scared of doctors, okay.]
I've never seen a procedure where I was also in-charge. That is kind of... intimate.
