Hi. Um, me again. I still exist.

Would you mind letting me out of here for a little bit? I have a lot to take care of - cleaning up the Christmas decorations at the hospital, planning my wedding, deciding whether or not to go home to New Jersey. And if I stay here, I still have to go back and tell everyone at Princeton goodbye.

[Megan, you're a total sap. Only you would feel beholden to the characters in your fandom when you've only ever interacted with one canon character ever.]

...You can't just now be realizing I'm the fluffy one in your head.

Also, could you do me a favor? Could you check on Frank and make sure he's okay? I mean, I know we only played that one thread together, but I'm worried about him. It wouldn't be any trouble for me to call him.

Yeah, they tend to forget about us pretty quickly around here, don't they?

{Kate looks up a little from where she had been sitting, picking at one of her nails and she gives the other woman a small sympathetic smile.}

Around this time last my my mun swore she was never going to abandon me despite the lack of people I actually know around here. I've been gathering dust since then. Until now. I'm not holding out much hope for being around too long.

Well, mine put me down for a while so she could focus on developing another of my headmates, which I understand. Especially after my fiancee's mun got sick around the holidays.

[A small smile back in return, Megan's finishing all her paperwork for the day.]

But you can get by without canonmates, I think. I was made originally for a Chase who hasn't been around in ages, and then I met Jesse and then Jack and here we are.

Oh I don't blame my mun, her head space is a pretty busy and crowded place. Hey, if I had the choice I'd focus on someone else up there too. At least I get brought to life every now and again.

{Kate smiles a little more, holding a hand out for Megan to shake. She's gotten a little better with not just running away from new people recently. She's opened up more. She'll even use her real name.}

You're right about getting on without canonmates. Trust me, I'm better off without half of them around. Besides there are definitely some...interesting people around here.

[Megan shakes her hand eagerly with a bright smile. She is, for all intents and purposes, the resident social butterfly, cheerleader, morale officer, et al.]

I never met any of my canonmates except the one. I didn't really start to figure out who I was until I met Jesse. And then Jack just showed up and swept me off my feet. It's kinda crazy, really.

Have you been here long? I guess I'm still pretty new.

{Ah, yes. The social butterfly. She's met plenty of those in her time but she has never been one of them. Not that that was a bad thing. She's doesn't completely hate who she is. Not all the time.}

I've only met a couple here and there but none of them tend to stick around for very long. Sort of like me, I guess. Yeah, it's crazy how things happen like that. Jack, huh? {Well, that's a coincidence. The last canonmate she saw around here was Jack. Her Jack.}

I've been here for about a year on and off. Being new's not a bad thing.

He's my fiancee. Although I haven't actually seen him since he proposed before Christmas. His mun got sick, and then my mun hasn't heard from them since, so we're just hoping they're okay.

[Frowning, because as a nurse and naturally a worrier, Megan is always worried about everyone.]

He's a real special guy. So was Jesse, too. I'm just hoping that he stays and we can get married, because I've never gotten that far with anybody.

I'm the more light-hearted of the three of us my mun writes for. The other two tend to be super-serious and have super-serious storylines and I'm not that at all.
