Let's eschew the usual pleasantries. I'd prefer to keep this brief.

Did you expect me not become cognizant of your plans? You're much more predictable than you realize. Everyone subjected to your plots and whims goes through something similar at some point in their career, and I need only take a passing glance over this premise to glean your intentions from the hints within. You've singlehandedly pushed this idea onto the rocky edge of overuse and left it wavering dangerously near a fatal fall into triteness. I'd congratulate you if I wasn't standing right below, waiting for the whole of it to fall and crush me beneath its highly exaggerated bulk.

I'll remind you that neither of us are new to working with one another. I'm not here to tell you that I'm tired of this recurring exercise in the fine limits of both of our respective sanities every correspondence between us warps into. That would be tiring and useless for both of us. I'm here to issue a friendly reminder.

I won't be making this easy. As long as we're both aware, that should facilitate our inevitable future exchanges into a comfortable state of perpetual high alert. Welcome to your new nightmare.

And what exactly is the nature of your working relationship with humans? If you don't mind me asking. I'm somewhat starved for a proper conversation.

Well currently I've been stripped of a lot of my power and can't get it back until I become a hero.
