There are many errors in your current decisions. Allow me.
1. Decent conversation and Lucifer do not go hand in hand.
2. Your whim to return me will dissipate as fast at it arose. It always does.
3. Time, or lack there of. Spare me the 'writing exercise' excuse.
I will not waste time wandering for conversation that reaps no rewards.
I have no desire to engage with other 'cross-canon' brothers or what have you.
Handle yourself. As I see it, your battle with sloth, envy, and pride is not looking in your favor. You may want to focus more on this than on me.

Don't worry Baxter was trying to hit his buttons xD
Did I hit a nerve? Seems that I have.
Rather than getting angry at me maybe you should see if I'm wrong. After all if your brothers aren't being abused and lied to then you have the peace of mind knowing that is the fact of it. If not you can make your decision of what to do from there.
After all even if you somehow kill me it won't change what I've said to you.
lmfaoooo sobs
Because Lucifer was not a liar. He was an Angel, he could not lie. Angel's did not lie but that didn't matter. What mattered was obedience and faith. This was his brother. Second born after he. His little idiot and foolish brother who was always so smart and so bright and so vibrant and full of life and love. Thousands of years later he still sees that face, that little brother. He saw it then on the field and it brought him such an overwhelming pain.
And that was the end of it. He put down his sword and the veil between heaven and hell disappeared. Their bodies faded in to Earth and here they were. No place to be damned to. No place to rise to. Was God dead? Was this merely punishment? He didn't know. He knew wrath, though. Strong in his gut. ]
What bliss it must be to never be at a dilemma. I have no need to indulge you in matters of my family. This conversation ends now.
[ and thus his wings curl back up and he looks again no more than an average man. ]
No need to apologize for character reactions anyway. If everyone got along it would be boring
[He's talking pretty casually.]
I am civilized with you, but it is not in my nature to be. I'm a terrible creature, the literal stuff of nightmares. However I stop myself. I stop myself because it would interfere with what I truly want to do. It's not easy and it doesn't always feel satisfying. Any of this sounding familiar?
[In his mind Michael had this problem twofold. There was his wrath, but also what Baxter thought might be the Brat's brainwashing. Always be faithful and obedient no matter what. Both of these seemed to be counter-intuitive to what Michael truly cared about. Michael didn't release his rage when Baxter insinuated his Father was anything less than perfect. No it wasn't until he called into question the love Michael had for his brothers that he seemed to react.]
touche
The pain is truly beyond comprehension.
He was crafted to be obedient. To be lawful and just by the Word of his Father. To love Him and His Creations. Be joyous; be righteous; be faithful. ]
It is not my satisfaction that matters. [ Here we go again. ]

[He's rather obviously not scared.]
Though I do have to say the God of your world is far more clever than the one of mine. He's programmed you into being obedient either through actually creating you that way or indoctrination, I would have to know more to be sure. The God of mine rules his Angels by fear.
When he "drops" an Angel he finds no longer useful they become demons. No longer having the vestiges of their intelligence they are confused, angry things. Lucifer tries to ease their suffering, but he can't do much for them. As far as I can tell this is what most Angels fear the most. Especially since it seems he's dropping them more frequently as of late.

Have you a purpose for telling me this? [ Also known as yes, you're right on that whole sword thing. Not entirely improbably to happen yet, either. ]
I have to say I really like your Michael, he's pretty interesting
[Though he is enjoying ruffling Michael's feathers. He has no love for The Brat after all.]
no subject
Perhaps he's simply not God. [ You had to have known that was coming. ]
no subject
Maybe, but as far as I know yours didn't write anything about creating other universes. The book talks about the creation of Heaven and Earth. Granted even that's a lie in my world, but the point is you're predisposed to believe what he says and everything else is up for debate. Right?
no subject
Tell me you did not believe all which is written is true.
no subject
However my point still stands if he never told you he created more than one universe. I'm just getting the feeling he didn't talk directly to you all that much.
[Just a feeling. If he was more personable Michael would have a lot more to say about his God's character. Instead it was pretty blind allegiance.]
So did he tell you any differently? If he did make my universe it would beg the question as to why he would let someone else use his identity and presumably create Angels ruled by fear.

Does your lord speak to his angels? Do fathers tell their children all?
no subject
[Hard to talk when they're dead-set on trying to capture or kill him.]
I wouldn't know. I don't have a Father. I just have my Brother.
I'm just trying to get you to admit you don't know if he's the creator of my world or not. Nothing more than that.

[He shrugs.]
Though I've realized I've been the one really leading this conversation on. I imagine by now you have a few questions for me at the very least.
no subject
But: ] There is much of my Father's work that I do not know of.
[ And then: ] Who is your brother?
no subject
He is called The Dreamweaver. He was created with the evolution of man and his dreams. Because of this he only needs dreamers to survive unlike most who need worshipers.
I call him brother because Father doesn't seem like the right word. I was born from him in a way, but it was not a conscious decision and how we related to each other afterwards make me think more of brothers than say yourself and your Father.
As you might of guessed I'm his opposite. A God of nightmares.

[ Matters of family has always concerned him. Now more than ever. He does not care about this other god who command angels in this creatures world. He does not and will not consider this other creature a god nor his brother one. Angels preside over many things. They created, formed, and protect sections of the world. Concepts. Ideas. So on and so forth. They were not gods. They were Angels. ]
And what do you require to retain your power.
no subject
[He chuckles a little.]
The same thing as my Brother. Dreamers. Instead of creating dreams however I consume them and spew forth nightmares.
Of course given my sphere of power I'm intimately aware of what every being fears.
no subject
Are you?
no subject
[He gives a nod.]
I can tell you that you do not want me to demonstrate it though. I can present you with your most intimate fears. Most can't stay rational when presented with such a thing.
no subject
What is it you want to do. You mentioned before that being so civil is not in your nature.
no subject
[He might be telling more than he usually would, but Michael for all his faults wasn't the worst listener in the world.]
It would be easy for me to go on a rampage, but it won't accomplish what I want to do. I have to be smart. I'm trying to overthrow The Brat. Also from here-on let's just agree when I say Brat, I mean the God of the Angels in my world. I don't personally know your God so I've got no personal vendetta against him.

[This was the first time Michael would see a look of sadness on Baxter's face. He was very sincere in his words about Nor.]
The Brat saw fit to have that light extinguished. He used the other deities to get to me. One of them, Ares, killed Nor. Being so weak and with so few followers it was the end of her. As much as I wish for it to be the case I suspect we do not have an afterlife when we truly die.
