I'm not here for romance, am I? I'm an ancient Time Lord, not another ordinary human being, and quite frankly, my former regenerations should never have been flirting with their companions in the first place. I'm embarrassed by their romantic entanglements, and I will not be following in their ridiculous footsteps. Honestly, bowties and pinstripes... it's time I stopped behaving as a child and acted my own age.

I have far too many important things to be doing, anyway, and...and I was married, wasn't I? What more do you want from me?

In my defense, any and all flirting stemmed not from a ridiculous desire to snog them and more simply myself being overzealous when it comes to people and situations.

Well, I do not have the best memory, but that doesn't mean I flirt with anything that has a pulse. Nor do I have any desire to snog my companion. That's not what being the Doctor is all about.

Yes. While I can understand being exuberant and doing things spur of the moment, meaningless snogging kind of ruins the point of snogging. I mean, I may be guilty of that, but I hadn't realized the truth about myself yet and I was in the company of another doctor.
