homeless & throwing a tantrum about being ignored (some War Crimes spoilers in comments)
Congratulations, mundane, on the extraordinary achievement that is your soon-to-be second legendary cloak! Why, it is almost as if you haven't been meaninglessly squandering these past several months on more trivial pursuits.
I would salute you, but my capacity for sarcasm is all but exhausted. Truly, mundane, you have been living up to your title, haven't you? I haven't even gotten started on your astonishing lack of interest in acquiring what should have been your favorite summer reading material. That book came out how many months ago now? And yet you have done nothing. Is trying my patience the only form of entertainment your pitiful mind can devise?
I do not accept your excuse that this is "compensation" for the fact that certain dialogue responses are no longer available in your "game." How many times must I say "you do not want to make it onto my list" before the message sinks in?
There is the remaining grievance regarding your appalling lack of progress in obtaining a certain pair of daggers, but I feel I've rather made my point. Do not disappoint me again.

Just because you were cross and disappointed things did not go as you wanted does not give you the right to destroy the property of others. If you possessed any restraint you would have gone elsewhere instead of stomping about the tavern and last I checked a human two year old even those magically inclined can not, thank the light, set wood ablaze.
[Seriously, Wrathion.]
You at least owe Tong an apology for the way you treated him.
no subject
[No pun intended, by the way.]
Your forces left far more collateral damage, both in terms of property and lives lost, and they didn't even have the decency to finish the job. All of that groundwork, gone to waste!
[His agitated tone, brightly burning red eyes, and the faint curl of smoke escaping one corner of his mouth may just be an indication that another meltdown is imminent.]
Need I remind you of the devastation wrought by my father's reemergence into the world? A tavern doesn't even compare.
I'm not apologizing for anything.
I honestly love them best when they are at one another's throats.
You still only see strength and power through domination as the only way of accomplishing anything. Did your time with the each of the Celestials teach you nothing?
[However, all of that is easily forgotten as Wrathion brings up Deathwing.]
At least your father was under the influence of the old ones, Wrathion. You always said you were different, it was a point of pride for you. So now what is your excuse?
[Anduin will not let him say such things, not when the priest knows deep down he does want to see Azeroth saved not torn asunder.]
they do seem to bring out the worst in each other
No. If we are to unite Azeroth against the threat to come, we will need to resort to more extreme measures. How else will we be prepared in time? You cannot rush diplomacy, assuming that such a tactic would succeed at all!
[He takes a deep breath to calm himself, some measure of control returning at the unwelcome reminder of how much is at stake. Why can't the prince of Stormwind see things his way?]
I only mentioned my father to put things in perspective for you. I may not be capable of that level of destruction, but I am capable of doing much more than wrecking a single building. Do not compare me to him.

[Of course, belief in what you think is right can lead some down very dangerous paths. It is hard for him not to think the worse might come of all this if any of them continue to move forward.
That is why he has to keep trying and if it means being at odds with one he called friend then so be it.]
Your actions as of late certainly do a poor job of making all of us think otherwise.
[Though he is purposefully ignoring the fact that Wrathion left him and the Chu brothers alive.]
all right, fine, buying War Crimes, I HATE YOU
Wouldn't eliminating that uncertainty serve us better in the long run?
[If Anduin disagrees now, he truly has learned nothing, but the thought does nothing to reduce the sting of his final words. Wrathion is not his father, he is not, and if he had been anything other than a black dragon, Anduin would be able to see that!]
My actions were necessary, Prince Anduin. Condemn me for them if it pleases you, but you cannot convince me that they were wrong.
Lies all of them! And you'll either like it or hate it.
In the end we all do the same and in a way I suppose I should at least thank you for that much.
[He admits as a hand falls to grasp Fearbreaker's hilt that now hangs from his belt.]
The Alliance is the strongest it has been in decades, we are united to face a common enemy. We will stop you and anything else you see fit to challenge us with.
[Anduin has a feeling the Horde will not so easily bend at the knee either.]
lbr, i'm only reading it for wrathypoo and have already been mostly spoiled for it WE SHALL SEE
You are welcome to try.
The lil' shit has some good scenes, so does Anduin. Varian's parts were enjoyable too.
Just try not to destroy another tavern on your way out next time.
[Because Anduin knows there will be a next time if someone is unfortunate to take the dragon in for another expansion.]
I do not think those on Draenor will be as forgiving as the pandaren are.
i am reading it in between tags, see what you do to me
[And there may finally be just the tiniest flicker of guilt on his face. It may even be genuine.]
You keep mentioning that tavern. You weren't even there when it happened.
Yes good, I mean - oh no how terrible of me. I'm such a bad influence.
[Because someone should, poor Tong deserves better.]
THE WORST
Don't bother. With as much business as my champions brought to the place, he's already been well compensated.
This just means when you're done you will have to tell me what you think.
At least your champions had the sense to pay him for his services.
slavedriver
Are you still talking about this?
Sadly all I can offer is another bratty goody goody prince to make up for things.
Is there another topic aside from your bad manners that you would care to discuss?
[This is what happens when he has no one to play Jihui with.]
acceptable i guess :[
The weather? Recent events not associated with destroyed property or prison breaks? Your health?
I suppose I could go off and play more of the beta instead.
Perhaps I should have phrased the last question from another topic to another topic you care about.
[Anduin is certain Wrathion cares not for the weather or his health. Still ...]
Draenor is proving to be an interesting place. Though I doubt I will be seeing all it has to offer first hand.
... omg i hate you so much you are dead to me
Asking outright is not allowed, apparently.]
Tell me everything.
I should probably not mention I'm going to blizzcon either then should I?
At first it does not appear at all dangerous as others initial described it. Shadowmoon Valley is amazing! I never would have imagined that a land that is kept in perpetual night could thrive so well with only the light from the moon. The stars and sky there give anything we have seen in pandaria a good run for it's money.
that's actually okay; i am too
A land kept in perpetual night? Do you mean deliberately? Is it at all like the Timeless Isle?
Sweet!
It is nothing magical based, Shadowmoon Valley is located in far south east of Draenor. The moon that circles the planet called The Pale Lady shines so brightly there that it has replaced all other sources of natural light. Even during the day. More importantly Shadowmoon Valley is home to Karabor, the home of my mentor the Prophet Velen.
there's probably some lore answering these questions but oh god wow lore why
That name, "the Pale Lady," is it a reference to some myth, goddess, or spirit? Do the people of Karabor have any records of such a thing? Books, perhaps?
[Tablets, runestones, shiny things?!]
Yeah but it's all subject to change based on their whims, Anduin's age for example. :|
As far as I know it is just a name, unlike the larger of Azeroth's moon which is a reference to Elune. Karabor is full of many things beyond books, it is the heart of the draenei civilization and their most holy of temples.
[Plenty of things to distract a dragon with a penchant for shiny things for some time Anduin imagines.]
all twisty in five million places i do not trust wowpedia for reasons help
Holy relics? Other artifacts? [He isn't giddy, shut up.] Did you happen to obtain any? As a priest, you must have special access. [Access that he intends to exploit.] Especially with your connection to Prophet Velen, yes?
No it's best not to trust wowpedia for more than basic information.
I would imagine.
[Anduin may in fact prefer to see this side of you Wrathion, but that does not mean he will play in to your hand.]
As a priest and a student I suppose I might be inclined to see things others are not, but it would go against my vows to abuse such a privilege.
yeah figured. guess i'll just have to read all the books ever.
Not the books are given much attention either in game. :(
also horribly written. don't get me started on War of the Ancients
Anything written by Knaak can go die in a fire. Uuuugh.
just about, augh. but but but dwagons, I must know everything
I'll probably read that one, but I had to power through Wolfheart just for Wrynns.
read first scene with wrathion and anduin and wow anduin how do you miss all those hints
yup. which is why looking back I can't help but think Anduin feels incredibly stupid/guilty
i wonder if wrathion wanted anduin to stop him. ... and god i need icons
I doubt it, Wrathion seems surprised that Anduin shows up at the end.
i don't think it was a taunt. perhaps trying to emotionally prepare anduin?
Subject lines are a poor place for conversations.
you and your logic
