You're a student at Helios' school for humans and demons...which he calls "mythica"...where he teaches said mythica how to interact with human without drawing attention to themselves, and attempts to teach the humans not to fear the supernatural.

The mythica hide themselves via special rings that let them appear as human.

[A pause. A frown. A tap of her chin in thought.]

Oo, you're good. Still don't mean I can just go around showin' off. You know how it is. You show me yours, I show your mine?

[Giles holds up both hands, completely empty.]

Perfectly ordinary human, me.

A few very minor magic tricks. Nothing that Helios couldn't thrash.

[Esiel regards him a little longer before bouncing right into his personal space - my, isn't that familiar - and presses a finger to his forehead, taking a small sample of his energy. It's a quick transfer, nothing more then the feeling of slight warm and the feel of her finger against his head.]

[And what she'll find is that he's...mostly...telling the truth. There's a touch of demon to his soul, but it isn't his. There's also trace elements of something she might recognize as Helios' magic, but not enough to muster into any sort of spell. Giles' own magical potential is a few sparks, his energy refined and honed and old.]

[Interesting, interesting, interesting. Esiel grins her approval and backs out of his space, nodding at him.]

[Giles rubs at his forehead as though she'd jabbed him, rather than prodded him, a look of annoyance on his face.]
