[While it's true that George's mother Mortianna was considered a witch, the type of magic she practiced had a lot more to do with voodoo and soothsaying than it did with... whatever Remus was talking about - first Transfiguration, and now Appar-whatever-it-was. And George was getting slightly annoyed by the apparent double-speak. Did he even want to know what a Muggle was? Sod that.
