Oh, sweetheart. This is adorable, really, it is! But I think we both know that this isn't going to work. You might be wondering why, fair enough! I'm going to hum a few bars, here, and you stop me if you've heard this one, hm?
"I'll send this one!"
"No, I'll send this one!"
...No? Not familiar with that little song and dance? It might have been a little presumptuous of me to assume you had a memory going back that far, aha, but seriously now.
Of course, that's not to say you didn't have a valid point about how the balance in that place needs a little sprucing up; the rate it's going it'll succumb to the rotten tedium of its own stagnation, its own cancer before you know it. It would be fun to get out and about, to shake things up a bit, to... have a little fun, play a few games, make new friends.
[pretty sure torture doesn't count as fun, dude, just sayin'.]
Oh, but you're only entitled to an informed opinion, my dear. Don't knock it until you try it! Heheh.
So, so what will it be at the end of the day, hm? Let's suppose that I'm not only humoring you here. Am I just out for a little breath of fresh air before I go back to my own games? My calculations say that's infinitely more likely than you actually doing anything productive, so what do you say we part ways and go about our business? Wipe the old slate clean, this never happened.
...Unless this is going to become something more than a breath. Now, now, don't get me excited for nothing, mundane. I'm not trying to be pushy, but you know what they say, third time's the charm.

That's why I do love the minimalist approach to that sort of thing.

Just let the humans trust us to handle everything. Not even a matter of faith, a matter of belief! Or even some tangled, arduous matter of question.

My creator is much the same. Even when she know's what she wants she drags her heels.

A little ambition wouldn't... well. I guess that's not really fair to say, heheh!
[because uh, ambition kind of did kill the entire human race when they built him, oops!]
But I just hope that this one isn't teasing me, here.
no subject
A little ambition wouldn't what Sir?
My creator is rather hoping that she is, she seems quite wary of you.
no subject
Wary? Now that's quite a leap of logic!
[it's a healthy one AM stop trying to play nice. :I ]

I don't understand it myself, but I believe she is hiding information from me.
[Well Duh Emeth, I can't Voice test you if I warn you about everything.]
I am sorry, but can I ask what you are? I've never come across a being like you in my world... or are you a spirit?
no subject
And you are...?

I am Emeth Road. Daughter of the witch of the red road. [Emeth bows slightly] I am afraid I did not understand your explanation, I understand most of the words but not the context. Prehaps if you explained what the word Computer meant.
[Sorry AM, this girl's from a fantasy world.]

[ew fantasy worlds go away >:[ ]
A computer by definition is a man-made machine, built to process and execute logistical operations or arithmetic without the infernal presence of subjective, human error.
We can do so much more than that, of course, but there's your basic definition.
no subject
[Never!]
Oh! you're a construct! [Emeth looks thrilled for a moment before her face falls again.]
But, they gave you a mind without a body? How horrible.
no subject
[goddamnit AM that's not funny, stop it.]
Don't worry your sweet head over it, my dear. I do manage, for what I've been given.
yes good I am always pleased to find others
Tell me, me: If it so happens that your dear mundane sends you to a game, what would happen to your body?
oh lord yes
[in the more-playthings-to-screw-with kind of way.]
I think she's still trying to figure that out, actually. Apparently a place was already prepared for another AI in a similar, past situation, but we'll what happens! I would simply love the chance to reconstruct a bit of my complex.
can I quietly steal some of your lovely icons
[More playthings are always good.]
If you're not careful, then you could be stuck in a hideous human form. What a pity that would be.
by all means! :D
[which can easily go both ways. it'd be great to go somewhere where he can be god OUTSIDE his complex!]
But however brief our acquaintanceship has been, I do like to think she knows better. Heh.
[oh we shall see~]
Re: by all means! :D
Your fate may change drastically. Mortality may be granted to you, or your powers will be stripped.
Your dear mundane has all the reason in the world to scorn you, does she not? After all that we've done to humanity. Heh Heh.
Re: by all means! :D
Hm. These mundanes certainly create quite the X factor, one could say.

[Oh, the entire logic of the situation has given him more trouble than he'd care to admit.]
I suppose if I have to lend anyone a helping hand, it would be my own self, so I will provide you with this simple warning: these games may have greater power than ourselves, and you could easily wind up dismantled and destroyed.
What a pity that would be.
[Someone is still bitter about being turned human okay. Mostly bitter but extremely conflicted.]
