It's....complicated. But, a lot of things happen that make me...anxious, I guess, about her being at the Garden, I mean.

That...[Should she say?] that she kidnapped me--us. That she stabbed Eugene when he came to find us. That's why Eugene and Merlin aren't going to be so thrilled to see her.

Oh! You haven't met him yet? Eugene is my--our guide that agrees to take us to the see the lanterns! And Merlin is a friend I met at the Garden, the 'game' my mun has me at.

But I ended up in Scotland and now I have Minato and the rest of my family so it's...sort of really okay. That must be nice for you though. Having - having someone from home with you there, I mean. Having Flynn. Friends are wonderful to have. What's Merlin like?

He--what? He never ditched me. Well, there was that time where it seemed he left with the crown in exchange for giving me up to these two thugs but....he told me that was all a set up.

You're in Scotland? I've never been, what's that like? Who's Minato? You're with family? [So....does that mean, her real parents? The King and Queen?] Um, oh, yes. I'm so glad to have Eugene there. And Merlin is great! He's a very good friend who has helped me a lot.

But - Scotland is gorgeous. There's so much space here. Sometimes it's...overwhelming, but- Mostly it's perfect. And we're allowed to go wherever we like! Even at night if we don't get caught. There are trees and a beautiful lake and - and mountains! And - [ sigh ] And Minato. He's - heh. He's kiiiinda my boyfriend. Though he was hurt really badly recently... Do you know what a boyfriend is? I didn't before this. And I'm not actually related to my family. Not really. But we're connected in other ways, you know? We're all there for one another. And we love each other. Always. So it's a family.

Is is like that for you too? With your friend and Flynngene? [ clearly this is the best naming option ]

Yes. It belonged to the Lost Princess. And...well, apparently we saw them but I don't remember that myself. Eugene does though, he says we defintely saw them.

It sounds wonderful! A...boyfriend? [Well, Eugene is also a boy and her friend, that must be what she meant, right? Right!] Well, Eugene...likes me. He's a boy and a very good friend! Hm, I'm glad you have people there for you.

Oh, a boyfriend is very different from a normal friend. When you have a boyfriend? You're a couple. So you do couple things! Like holding hands and going on dates. And kissing, which is the best part I think. Kissing is fun. You kiss because you do like each other. They tell you that you're beautiful and that they want to be with you and everything just... it makes you feel good. All of it. But only you two are allowed to do those things because it's special. You're friends but - but it's more than that. And you're family also but... More.

It's - [ again the sigh ] - complicated.

[ ... ] Is that why you're anxious about Mother coming? Because she'd be unhappy about you and your friends?

Well, I was taken while we were at Corona but before we go out on the boat to see the lanterns.
