hello, darkness, my old friend | doctor who.
Right, ah — hello again. Been a while. Couple, oh, I dunno — three years, was it?
Blimey, time flies.
We had a good run, eh? You, me. What do you say to just one more? One more, that's all I'm suggesting. —Oh, don't look at me with that face: You were brilliant. You were. I know you. Well, sort of. But. I know what you're capable of and that is so much more than you think.
So, c'mon, then. Stretch those legs, jumping jacks? oh, that's good. Let's work out the ol' kinks, you and me.
You want to run? Let's run. Allons-y, remember?

[ Mostly take. He frowns at the thought. ]
What? Allons-y? [ He pockets his hands, rocking side to side by use of his ankles. ] Simple, really. Onwards. Let's go. Off you pop. You roll all that up into one teeny tiny little word and bam! [ The Doctor stabs the air with a finger — all that emphasis. ]
Bit of a catchphrase, really.

[Leela's tone is a practised one: feigning deadpan just to troll the Time Lords. It's a tone that gets a lot of use on Gallifrey. But she's smiling despite that, sightless eyes mostly focussed in the Doctor's direction.]
Of course, I have not met this version of you, but you do sound very-- excitable.
