And what am I, ribbit? Of course we're not human, but in a place like that we're supposed to get turned into humans! We can't use any of our magic, none, nada, witchiness is on hold!

W-Well I can still sort of teach how to use ice! We'll be wolf brothers, they'll understand me.

Well, Medusa and Shibusen isn't there, right? So we can do whatever we want.

Mun plays the scythe-brat there, but that's about all I know.

[Oh wow, it really does mean they can do whatever they want.]

It wasn't too bad being a good guy, but a little destruction might be fun now and then!

[His hatred for humans might have subsided a little, especially after all the celebrations, but that doesn't mean he has to be completely nice to them all the time!]

What do you think we could get away with?

Hmmm~ things that look like an accident definitely, toppling over food stands, hydrants or water fountains "malfunctioning." Even if we can't use our own magic, who's to say these Pokemon can't be taught to play a few harmless "pranks" right?

[There's still the police to consider, and being a fugitive is no fun, so they would have to plan their mischief carefully.]

I'd like something a little more violent, but mun says I might find some fun people to fight!

[There's the Yu Yu Hakusho cast and Bro Strider, someone will keep him happy.]

That reminds me- apparently there's a fox thing that can do illusions! It's not a wolf, but it's close enough, right?

[Mun doesn't have the hear to tell him otherwise.]

If we do more violent, we'd get the police after us, stupid! We gotta keep low with that. Besides, there's a lot of meatheads there, no doubt, you'll find someone to keep you entertained.

[She supposes acclimating to living among humans can continue even in another place. Just less stigma about Witches and werewolves, hopefully!]

Illusions, huh? Mine's telling me there are some that can manipulate the environment with their minds, too. We'll have to collect a lot of these to keep things entertaining, ribbit.

Sounds like there's a lot to collect! I heard there's a whole lot.

[He sounds pretty excited about this. Sure, he was free before after Eruka rescued him, but now they've hit a whole new level of freedom. He's looking forward to traveling around with no one to tell him what to do!]

At least we'll know for sure that if there are lots, there's bound to be interesting ones in there, ribbit. It's a fail-safe for if the humans turn out boring anyway.

I will have to start working whenever we get there.

What kind of work would you do?

[He's just seen her freaking out about stuff and/or being a math genius, so he's genuinely curious about what sort of work a froggy witch like her would do.]

...What's that look for, are you doubting my work ethic?

I don't know, a waitress? [She's already calculating the logistics of Pokemon world's currency and how many hours she'd have to work in order to support herself and Free.] ...What hotel room would even have a bed big enough for you, though? Great, we haven't even gotten there and we're already running into roadblocks.

A waitress? With a uniform? [Processing... Processing... Because of their almost ridiculous height differences, Free is too used to just kind of seeing... that hat face, and not Eruka face.] That could be pretty cute, I think.

[Oh now they're talking about beds, IT'S COOL HE HAS THIS COVERED]

I could just sleep on the floor with pillows. It'd be better than my cell.

Wow, congratulations, that's the first good idea you've had since we got off the moon.

[She wouldn't share a bed with him or give up sleeping in one just so he can anyway.]

Can you imagine that? We'd get to sleep somewhere besides prison cells or on the ground outside! We might even get a TV in the room, too--oh, and I can go clothes shopping! I haven't been able to do that since this whole ribbiting chaos started! [Well somebody's suddenly about 100% more excited about the situation.]

It's what I usually do anyway.

[Being bara is hard, and lots of times means not having big enough beds.]

[Her excitement is sort of contagious, and he's suddenly remembering all the things he can do now because they're not wanted criminals! If only he still had his tail.]

I can watch movies again! [IN A MOVIE THEATER. WITH POPCORN. AND EVERYTHING.] Do you think they have festivals there?

I think they would. Humans have a lot of holidays they like to celebrate--I think Christmas is coming up next month.

[She would say Thanksgiving, but that's an American thing and...this Johto probably doesn't have something like that.]

Do you think we could get a Christmas tree when we get there?

I don't see why not. Would you want to? I'm not sure if any hotel would allow a full-sized one in our room. We'd have to get an actual house for that...maybe a small one?

[A beat.]

I mean a small tree, not a house.

You're supposed to get a tree to put the presents under, right? Or did that change?

[This is very important, for silly reasons.]

Yes you still put presents under the tree. Unless the humans changed that without any of us realizing it.

What, do you still believe in Santa?

Well, there are Shinigami, and the Kishin, so...

[There could be a Santa, Eruka! You just don't know! Weirder things have happened in this canon, this is clearly flawless logic going on.]

But I can't wait to get presents. It's been a long time since there's been anybody to get any from! It'll be fun.

I doubt PokeSanta exists, Free.

[Skepticism at its finest.]

The only person you'd be getting presents from is me unless you make friends in that Johto place.

Just don't steal anything, I doubt the cops would have any Christmas cheer for us.

You know...it might not be so bad to make friends with the humans there. They're not the humans from our world, you know? Maybe they wouldn't have a problem with werewolves and witches.
