Calling back an old muse pfft
So. Here we are again.
Whaddya want now? You gonna put me into another game?
[She has to think it over, she doesn't exactly trust that her mun isn't going to stick her into some place that's awful for cheap entertainment, and everything just got wrapped up nicely too...]
But it's a nice place, huh? ...All right, I'll play along, if it's a nice place. You'd better not waste my time! [She's a very busy Witch, after all.]

[His mun doesn't know where he found the Manectric already. Maybe from the lone Pokemon muse in the headspace??? She's from Y, after all. Still, Free is looking very pleased with himself. He did not find an ice wolf thing, but this will do for now.]

She casts a look at the Manetric, looking genuinely impressed that such a thing exists in this world they might be headed to.]
Wow, you already got one. It's kinda cute. I wonder what kind of frog-creatures would be there? [Mun is for some reason or another withholding that from her so it can be a ~surprise~]
no subject
[...He didn't count.]
A lot of 'em, but I couldn't find an ice wolf.
[The mun told him that the canon doesn't have any yet, but guess who didn't listen.]

[Two little Frees? No thanks.]

Did you really just say that!?

You didn't think it was funny?

[oh god...]
Wh-what are you doing here?! I thought the Academy brats killed you!

I am the mirror and the reflection itself, and what I show is the world's fear. So long as there is life to feel fear! I will be there to represent it. My physical form was just restrained temporarily, but doesn't that just breed more terror? Every day now, will be a grim reminder of my presence... And inevitable return.

[At least she can't give a "there will always be people to defeat you with courage!!" speech. She's not a hero and she'll never claim to be one.]
Don't you have anything better to do than bug me?

[That counts as "hi" to her.]
So you've been there? What kind of creatures did you see? Free's content because he has his smelly dog brothers, but I'm wondering if there's more variety than that.

[Ugh.]
But that means there would be frogs there, too, right? That works for me.

Not animals? How the hell does that even work...

[Don't let that velvet-soft voice fool you...]
[Medusa lets out a laugh over the last sentence.]
You actually believe the things your mundane tells you? What a foolish little frog you are!
no subject
[Gulp.]
L-lady Medusa...
[No, back up Eruka, don't let her intimidate you. There are no snakes anymore, she can't hurt you.]
Better a foolish frog than a snake in the grass, ribbit!
[Yessssss, she talked back!!]
If she can't put me in the place that she wants to, she'd just put me back. She's more interested in torturing the scythe-using brat anyway.
no subject
[It's not cute at all, it's actually quite vexing. There may not be snakes now, but there certainly can be...]
Then you'd best pray she doesn't try and put you where I am...I doubt a Witch with such a weak stomach as you could handle a place like the hotel from hell.
[Medusa finds it fun though!]
[The tattoo on her left arm begins to move, and the snake lifts into the air and soon takes physical form. Medusa reaches out and strokes the great creature's snout.]
So, where is she thinking of putting you then?
no subject
L-like I'd tell you that! [All right, so far so good.] It's certainly not going to be any hotel, or island, or asylum, or whatever else is going on out there today. I'll tell you what it is, though: a place where you won't be, and even if you were, you'd have no power whatsoever! No better than a little baby Witch that doesn't know magic yet.
no subject
[The large snake hisses and lunges at Eruka, but pauses mere inches from the frog witch when Medusa pats the great creature; the silent command to stop.]
Now, now, Eruka - no need to be rude I was only asking. Besides, if I were put in such a state in that place, I can't imagine the state of weakness you'd be in!!
[Have a condescending Medusa laugh.]
But there's no reason we can't be civil, now is there? We're friends, are we not?
[Because friendship is one person penetrating the other's body with snakes and making them run around doing shitty errands like reviving a demon god bent on destruction and madness!]
no subject
It's a little high-pitched whine coming from deep in Eruka's throat. Her mind is racing with comebacks, mostly akin to "you killed my friend, you crazy snake!" and "you tried to kill ME, you're not a friend of mine!" or even "you made me break the nut that stole the Grand Witch's eye out of prison!" (even though the latter became an actual friend/meatshield to her).
But she can't, she simply can't say any of those things, only stare and shiver, eyes flicking back from Medusa to the snake and back again.]
...Ribbit.
[At least her pride keeps her from saying anything like "yes Lady Medusa, of course we're friends."]
...And how have you been in your game, Lady Medusa?
no subject
[The snake retracts the tiniest bit, allowing Medusa to gently scratch her nails against its nose.]
My game goes quite well! I've managed to avoid death on more than one occasion, unlike others, and have met some very interesting people.
[They feed her ego like you wouldn't believe...it's bad.]
Crona is there as well with Ragnarok; though they've only just arrived and night approaches soon. Night time there comes after two weeks, and I quite enjoy the screams and chaos that are heard in the night.
[Oh yeah she loves it. Everyone else is scared out of their wits, but she loves it!]
