On mun's indescisiveness about sending her anywhere
My dearest mundane (such a terrible name to call you; can't it be something brighter?),
I'm afraid I must mention a few things to you, if you would be so kind as to lend me an ear. First of all, darling, that double tiered skirt you are planning on sewing is by no means going to pick itself up off the floor and stitch itself together for you. Come, come! You only have a little over a month to complete this and I refuse to see the work you've already done go to waste!
Of course, if it were me taking care of things, you would have a complete and polished ensemble by now.
[Flips her mane]
Second, I have touched up here and there in your headspace just about as much as I can, and while it is lovely, you promised you would take me out to see the world by now! Surely anymun can see a lady such as myself would grow dreary and bored without a change of scenery. ... I still refuse to consider this "Tower" place you have in mind, however. Not until it has received dusting, waxing, polishing, and a nice new coat of paint!
Lastly, goodness. In the name of Celestia, please find it in your heart to tell another so-called "muse" of yours in here to take that drab and outdated leather coat off! It does absolutely nothing for him. I've tried to insist a nice orange scarf, perhaps a touch of green or seafoam, but he continues to refuse! I simply cannot let a crime against fabulosity go--
[And somewhere in the headspace, an Axel tosses a pillow at her.]
... Well. I never!

Hey, hey, don't knock getting the chance to take it easy for a while! Once your mun boots you out, who knows when you'll get a vacation next? Not all the places she could send you are real nice, either--I hear that Tower you mentioned is a real nasty piece of work, yeah?
no subject
Yes, yes, dreadful, but certainly not as dreadful as this "fine" piece of work.
[She'll be using her magic to tug at the back of your coat now.]
Honestly, what are you thinking? Nothing about this is in season, or any season at that!
no subject
[Demyx flails in protest--quite melodramatically--before grabbing at the back of his coat to tug back. Yes, even though it's zipped. Even though it's..... probably some kind of weird, girly sparkles tugging at it or something. This is so bizarre.....
Still, that doesn't keep him from whining; it's hard to resist getting in a good potshot at the Big Six when he can, consequence-free.]
I wasn't thinking anything--c'mon, it's not my fault I'm stuck with a stupid dress code.....

[Rarity tugs back with her magic, her horn glowing brightly. Hmph! Now stand still!]
But I suppose I can at least go easier on you for being forced into this. You poor dear.
[Sighs and tries to lift the coat a little more to peek underneath. Goodness, human bodies are so interestingly shaped...]

...A Tower?! That sounds sooooooo boring!
I usually let Twilight handle the 'enabling' stuff but from the look of things this is an emergency. Why not try your hoof at
no subject
[She's excited to see you, too! And she's more than happy to listen to any suggestions Rainbow has.]
Perhaps we shall take a quick peek at it. Anywhere would certainly be better than a horrid old tower filled with monsters and dreadful decor.
... How are the other girls?
no subject
(A beat. Didn't she say that wrong?) Not really like them, like we would look if we were like them! And we won't have our special abilities; you wouldn't have your magic or your horn like Twilight, and Fluttershy and I haven't had wings in months! But we do still have our cutie marks. (She asked about the girls, right?)
...They're doing fine! Twilight's still leading us like usual, Applejack's enjoying herself and I think Fluttershy's really having a good time. I'm enjoying it too, but it still feels weird not having wings.

[Trixie scoffs.]
It appears Trixie is much more fortunate than you are. She is in residence upon a ship that swims through space, going from planet to planet! With each one, her audience grows in size. 'Tis unfortunate you are confined to a single measly tower.
no subject
I have not been sent anywhere just yet, I will have you know. But this tower is very much so off limits.
no subject
It would do those mundanes well if they suddenly decided to listen to us. Unfortunately, The Great and Powerful Trixie's mundane, and most likely yours as well, are most incompetent in that matter.

It sure had a lot of zippers, though.
no subject
Zippers or not, the coat is horrendous. Did you actually fit you?
no subject
Fit me just fine! I could stretch my wings and everything. It was magic, I could make it appear or disappear.
Didn't get to stay there long, though. Real shame. That was a pretty cool place.
So what's on your flight plan?

First off, it's nice of you to give your mun advice (and exactly what I'd expect you to give, point of fact) but unfortunately I've known plenty of them to start big, important projects, and then give up on them halfway through. So the best we can do is just hope they decide to put in the effort... but don't get your hopes up too high. Not everyone has your work ethic on these sort of things.
Secondly... Well, Rarity, you have to take a few things into account here. The fact is that your Mundane probably has a lot of other characters in their headspace to deal with, and maybe even a few in games out there. You're excellent at sticking out above the crowd, of course, but in the end it's your mun who has to make the decision to find a place that will work for both you and them. Which leads me to their suggested "game". I've heard of the Tower, and frankly, if your mun plans on sending you there you're probably going to have a lot of problems. It's a horror-based game, and in my experience, those tend to live up to their name. Hopefully you can convince your mun to find a different one... I see Rainbow's already recommending Route.
And as for the muse in the black coat... I'm sort of familiar with that "canon" and isn't that a uniform of some sort?
no subject
You make many wonderful points, Twilight, and I appreciate them very much. Especially the suggestion about this Route place, though I still hold my uncertainties about losing my horn and magic.
[A sigh then about her headspace "friend."]
Well, yes, it is a uniform, but that certainly does not mean that it is at all acceptable. Whoever designed them has absolutely no sense of fashion at all!
no subject
Of course, there are other factors to consider. Your mundane's preferences may not line up with Route's nature, in particular I've heard that it being "journal based" can be a problem for many people, though my own mun has never really understood why, and frankly I don't either. Then there's also the fact that they may not want to play you as humanized any more than you want to be humanized... though it's extremely obvious from the fact that they're even considering a place like that tower that they have little to no regard for what you want.
[She ponders that last part of the conversation a bit.]
Well, I think they were designed for pretty much the opposite of fashion prospects. To blend in rather than to stand out, that is.

Still...I think more muns can benefit from your enthusiasm.

[Rarity beams!]
Yes, unfortunately she seems to have been busy. And yet in her free time she still cannot be made to get up and work on such a simple project. Mm, but I will not pressure her too much. Even I understand the stresses sewing can create for some.
[Then, with a bat of her eyelashes,]
You really think I am enthusiastic?
no subject
Of course you are! I don't think I've ever met a pony who put so much passion into what she does...it's inspiring.
