tibetanpeopleI appreciate the efforts you're going to here. The chance to see Harry, Albert, Gordon, Audrey, Annie or any of the residents of Twin Peaks would be fantastic. With the obvious exception of BOB, of course.
On the other hand, space can be a dangerous place. I'm concerned some might react... negatively to the change in atmosphere. [Especially Harry. Not so soon after Josie's death.]
Regardless, I've got to treat the others to some of the exceptional coffee they have here. Not to mention those delicious pies I saved from the last planet.
Oh, I almost forgot! I need you to help me get that tape recorder back from Calvin. I have several notes to give to Diane, if she ever arrives.

I had an excellent breakfast at the hotel this morning: hard-cooked eggs, and I mean hard. Bacon so crisp you could almost taste the fire under the pan. And I don't think I need to remind you about the excellent quality of the Great Northern's coffee: hot, black as midnight, never over-roasted. Total comes up to $5.22.
You really need to come down here when you've got some vacation time; the staff have been nothing if not kind and courteous to me.
I'll miss this place, Diane, I really will. The question is where I'll be going next.

You're right, it's not like I haven't done anything of the kind before....but Johnny Horne wasn't dangerous. I wasn't taking my life in my hands every time I gave Josie an English lesson, or delivering food to psychopaths with Meals on Wheels, either. I know everyone deserves redemption, but the idea of being the one to help give it....you can understand why I'm skeptical.
I know this deal is vitally important; it's my task to carry out, after all. It's so important I won't even mention it here for fear of jinxing it. I need to do this, and I will, but I think I've gambled with my life enough for one eternity. So please, mun....be careful, okay?
