Hey there! Uh, "mun", was it? Nice to meet you, and I guess it's exciting that you're taking me for a spin-

-but, I think you should reconsider where you're planning to send me! I mean, the game looks nice, and it doesn't seem too bad, and I bet the weapons some of them get back are pretty cool, it's just...meeting new people and not having my friends there? You know I can't handle that! And I have to live with new faces too?! What if I mess up and they kick me out, what if I end up living with a mean family, what if I get a villain as a parent, or worse- !!

...you're not going to change your mind, are you?

[And she heaves out a long, dejected groan.]

[She smiles; it's somewhat less awkward this time around (thank you, episode 16!), but there's still some discomfort in her eyes, though it's not aimed at Penny.]

Maybe, but without anyone I know... [More sighing.] I think I'd be better off being dumped into a place where monsters roam about. It'd be less scary and intimidating, at least.

You're willing to be dropped off into a place full of monsters all alone? Wow, that's really brave of you!

[She flashes a more genuine smile now.]

Definitely! With how you went WHOOSH, and KA-SHING- [And she does some crazy arm movements to interpret, as always.] -and when the planes went KA-BOOM, you're going to breeze through the tournament for sure!

After seeing some of the other places that are available... trust me, it could be worse. A lot worse.

And, true. Could've been one of those "adult" games, but mine's not terrible enough to put me there, thankfully! [a pause] ...not that dying repeatedly is good too. Having to go through so much pain over and over every time that happens...ugh.

Just...just auuugh, I don't want to end up causing so much trouble! If I mess up big time, who knows what'll happen? And Crescent Rose won't be here with me- er, not for the time being, since I've heard they get stuff back and all, but what if I never get my weapon back?! A-and, this new family thing, I don't like it either! You're my big sis, but I might end up getting a new one, and I don't want you to be replaced because you can't ever be replaced, and I'd get stuck with some awful person instead, and...and- !!

All I'm saying is maybe it won't be as bad as all that. Sure, not having weapons around is pretty harsh, but crescent Rose isn't the only reason you made friends at Beacon, was it? I know my little sister can take care of herself. Besides, there's no way you can cause too much trouble without it.

And who knows. Maybe you don't have to worry about the new sibling thing too much. [hint hint nudge nudge]

[A sigh as her shoulders slump just a bit.]

Some of the people there do seem nice too- [Or at least, it's what she heard from Sam.] -so, maybe everything will go fine! I hope.

What I'm saying is our muns are in cahoots with one another. Which probably means exactly what it sounds like. So long as I keep mine focused that is.

[ oh nooo sounds like Sonico made her more worried. She tries to sound a little more reassuring, doing her best to turn the wattage on her smile up a little more. ]

I wouldn't worry too much! Since, really, the ones auditioning are our muns in the end. But I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours, either way!

...true. Mine really hates to slack off and rush through with it, so hopefully it does turn out fine.

[She's feeling a little better now, so she slowly eases into a more genuine smile.]

[ it probably says a lot about how often she has her headphones on that Sonico realizes oh right she's still wearing them and, with a giggle, she lifts her hands to touch her ever-present headphones. ]
