About his trade... and other things
Mundane, I am not quite certain how I feel about this. While not a lie, 'tis a bit strange that you would tell others (that you have forced me to interact with) I am a weaponsmith by trade. And Twelve forgive me if I am mistaken, but I believe that C'kayah knows better. He has already suspected that there is much more than I am willing to share by way of my mannerisms... I... am aware that I can become transpar---
No, we will cease speaking of that now...
Anyroad, I've a question... Though in truth, 'tis not a question but an observation. Is there something you are not telling me..? In the past few nights, you've somehow forced me to interact with others... in particular, Miqo'te. Of course, there is nothing wrong in interacting with Miqo'te themselves as I've found that... they can be very kind people. But I must question your motives, Mundane. With absolute certainty, you know what they are...
Finally, no... I am not going to try to find a way to smith an axe that can sing songs...
No, we will cease speaking of that now...

What are we..?

[So unsure of the context of the question.]
no subject
[It's not a loaded question, and the look of curiosity on his face should (hopefully!) indicate that.]
no subject
No no... I was speaking of my mundane's motives... With Miqo'te, anyway...
[By the Twelve, he's embarrassed.]
no subject
[What does he-
Oh. OH. that.]
...!
2/2
Um...
I hope you find someone, if that sort of thing would make you--
[Eeeesh. books are way better than physical contact okay he can lend you some seriously just try]
--happy. Yes, happy.
no subject
I... would prefer that he did not do this in the first place...
no subject
...
well, if you want to do that sort of thing, it is really none but yours, and the other person's business. No-one can tell you who or who not to... show interest in. If you even want to show interest in anyone at all.
no subject
[Twelve help him, how is he even supposed to talk about this...]
I've... no intention of courting anyone in the first place... Be it Hyur, Miqo'te, or otherwise...

For a moment, I had envisioned you with screaming children, and a harpy of a wife settling down in somewhere like Horizon, petitioning adventurers to kill piestes for you, as you could not leave your children or aforementioned wife to do so yourself.
[A small laugh! Very small. and a laugh is a rare thing from him; very rare indeed. But it's warranted. It is an amusing thought, after all.]
Exploring dungeons and learning of the world is a much better option. For now, anyway.
no subject
[Yeah, Garrett likes that idea a lot better.]
no subject
...It is none of my business..
... But do not allow your mundane to push you around. Your decisions are your own; and while... even with our ways considered you would likely make a good mate, giving up everything and settling down has to be your decision. Otherwise you will end up unhappy.

Yes... I can smith both botany axes as well as battle axes...
no subject
[ A slight smirk graced the scholar's lips as he eyed the blond. ]
Aren't you a strange fellow! What's all this babble about singing axes and your strange but humorous fear of Miqo'tes?
no subject
'Tis not a fear of them, but more of a fear of what my mundane would like to have me do with them...
no subject
[ Elarian cannot help but smirk at the poor man now. ]
Chasing tail is one thing but having a fetish for all things furry is another. I don't know whether to laugh or pity you. I suspect your mundane will have you lusting after one of those felines soon enough.
no subject
Do what you must...
no subject
[ Oh, stop making him feel bad for teasing you. It's not often he finds someone a little worse off than him. ]
Tell me, does this furry love interest have a name?
no subject
No... No such Miqo'te exists... Yet... as my mundane says...
no subject
[ The scholar tilts his head in a curious manner. ]
You mean to state that your mundane is lusting for a fictional furry-eared love interest and not an actual person?
[ He gives that some thought and shakes his head. ]
Well I suppose that's harmless.
no subject
And I am protesting, which I am sure you can see...
[He puts a gloved hand on his forehead.]
no subject
[ He smiles somewhat. ]
Focus on something more productive than your needless worries. Focus on taming that swordarm of yours.
no subject
[He looks down to the ground a bit...]
Is this not almost akin to your frustration over your mundane contemplating on altering your handsome form in such a way...? As you have previously expressed it...
[He looks back up to Elarian with a blank expression, but concern can be noted.]
no subject
Yes, yes! I remember that day when I vented all kinds of frustration over that nagging harpy of mine.
[ He huffs. ]
I suppose you have a point. Though, fussing doesn't change much sometimes--unless you threat bodily harm.
[ This is why he still is "male" and not sporting cat ears. ]
no subject
[wink! she's teasing, honestly.]
But that would certainly be something to see. How much weight could it hold against a foe, though?
no subject
[Gloved hand moves to his face.]
I've... not considered it. Mayhap if I come across C'kayah again, I would inquire about it.
no subject
Even if you don't make it in the end, it's an important consideration. You should know these things! [she tilts her head back a little, fingers touched against her chin.]
