You've been throwing silly random distractions at me on purpose. Why?

[An adorable little distraction of a kitten is batting at the feathers on the tip of his wing. Which he is carefully twitching out of reach at every swing of a paw. Yeah, he's using his wing to play with a kitten. Doesn't change that he's having some rather dark thoughts at the moment.]

What are you hiding? Something that may make me rethink restraining my darker impulses perhaps? So you're trying to delay any reason to have me dig deeper into the goings on at the temple.

[Kitty lunge and another wing twitch.]

This world has great potential for corruption. You don't even know how you'd want me to react if I somehow find it, do you?

[Another kitty lunge and he actually lets her get a grip on a feather or two.]

[Before the kitten can pounce he decides to get up and grab her. He doesn't feel like losing a chunk of feathers to the bored kitty. He'll just sit back down and let the kitten play fight his hand.]

Her name is Strife.

[His mun decided her being pale orange and having bright blue eyes made that the first thing to pop into his head when he was trying to think of something.]

Strife? [ She looks at the cat and well that’s an interesting name. ] One has to wonder how Cloud will react to the fact that you named your pet after him.

[He's looking at the kitten which has her paws wrapped around his wrist while she chews on his thumb.]

There is no deep meaning to it however. It was merely because of an inability to come up with anything else that was tolerable.

[ She smiles just a bit seeing him interact with his pet kitten, it was so sweet. ]

I guess in a way makes sense, I doubt you will be satisfied naming her Fluffy.

[Whatever level of crazy he happens to be, Cloud's discomfort will usually be a source of amusement for him.]

If he ever shows up here I'm sure my mundane will try to arrange for him to find out.

Her eyes reminded me of his. That's all. [And the pale orange fur was close enough to blond.] I don't see him as particularly kittenish.
