Huh? You're not the man in the moon. But it kind of feels like you are...
Is there a lady in the moon now...?
I guess I've seen stranger things.
[And that's really all the explanation Jack needs before he perches -- not sits -- on a chair, gesturing to the currently running air conditioner in his mun's room.]
Well, Moon Lady -- as much as I appreciate the fact that you're making me feel at home here, you should probably let me take care of the temperatures from here on out. It's supposed to feel like this outside, not inside.
But if you're going to keep it this cold, you might want to invest in some warmer clothes.
[He says, reaching forward to teasingly poke his mun with his staff.]
And no, "But I also have an impenetrable cocoon of a million covers" isn't a defense. You can't go out and play in the snow wearing a bundle of covers! Where's the fun in that?
What do you mean "What snow"?! Come on, would the guy that gave you the Blizzard of 96 let you down? Just you wait -- in a couple months, you'll have so much snow to play in you won't even know what to do with it all!

It sounds like your mun has a busy time ahead of her with you.
Aww, yay! I love Yue!
I'd say that we'll both be pretty busy trying to keep up with each other! But at least that keeps things interesting.
[Jumping up from the chair in one motion, he makes a path on the floor in ice and slides to a stop in front of Yue. Conjuring a ball of ice, he tosses it in the air once before giving it a tap with his staff. The action causes the excess to fall away, revealing the image of a snowflake, which he offers to the young Princess.]
The name's Jack. It's nice to meet you.
:'> /hearts at
It's a pleasure to meet you, Jack... my name is Yue.
:D /hearts back~
Yue? Wow. For some reason, that name sounds really familiar.
yaaay!
Perhaps it is because I am closer than you think...

Waaait a minute. You're another Moon Lady? Man, how many of you are there?
At least you guys are more talkative than the Man in the Moon. That guy gets quiet for years on end. Which would be fine, if he hadn't been my only company for such a long time.

[Yes, you do, Jack. It had no business being freezing here a few weeks ago.]
But it's been months since I've been able to do anything! Do you know how boring that is?
no subject
You have no idea!
no subject
I might! My name's Jack -- Jack Frost. It's great to meet you!
no subject
I'm Winry Rockbell, and it's nice to meet you, too, Jack!
no subject
So what do you do for fun, Winry?
[He asks, seeming genuinely interested. He's been around for centuries, but he never tires of hearing about the things that people get joy from.]
no subject
For fun? Well, I've been taking care of a couple of friends of mine since they came back home. We've been doing a lot of things - um, swimming, fishing, berry hunting. And we've seen the movie man a few times!
But I design automail, too - it's a type of metal prostheses that connects directly to the nerves, so it reacts like a flesh limb...except it doesn't have any feeling, except for pressure sensation.
no subject
Whoa, seriously?! That's awesome! The other stuff I've heard of before, but that -- automail, did you call it? -- sounds intense! How do you even learn something like that?
[For all his years, the advancement of technology will never fail to astound him. It's like every year he comes out, he's greeted with a whole new world.]

My grandmother's been teaching me since I was a little girl. It's pretty amazing to see what changes you can make in a person's life!
But what do you do for fun, Jack?
no subject
What're you talking about, then? There's no one living in the moons.
[ The thicker-looking head on the right butts in, his voice deeper. ]
Yeah, everyone knows that both the moons are made of cheese.
no subject
You think so? It's a little white for cheese, isn't it? Well, that and the fact that it's been around forever. Doesn't that stuff usually expire?
no subject
Well, it's moon cheese, ain't it? That's got to mean that it's a ~special~ kind of cheese.
'Sides, food turnin' green and old just adds to the flavor.
[ The hooded head nod sagely. ]
True that. Green stuff's good for ya.
no subject
That makes sense. Or maybe when the moon goes away, it's being replaced with new cheese that looks just like the old one!
[Yes, Jack. That's what the New Moon is. Restocking at the grocery store.]

A genius, huh? Nah, I'm not a genius. But could you make a note that you thought so and send it to the Easter Bunny?
no subject
[ There's a slight pause. ]
The Easter Bunny? Never heard of 'im.
no subject
Yeah, I can definitely see that. You two do seem pretty wise!
[It's the second part that makes Jack kinda stop and look hilariously confused.]
Wait, what?
So, you're saying you believe in me enough to be able to see me, but you've never even heard of the Easter Bunny?
[Okay, on one hand, that's incredibly sad. He of all people knows what it's like for people to be unaware of his existence, and he wouldn't wish that on anyone -- even Bunny. For all their fighting, he wouldn't want him to feel even a fraction of that kind of loneliness. On the other hand, though, a ton of other people believe in him, and it is kind of funny to be the one that's recognized for a change.]
That's...gotta be a first.

Yang is my absolute favorite from RWBY. You are awesome!
[He grins, altogether too excited that he can be seen again.]
Tell ya what. Next time a snowstorm's coming on, I'll wait for you to make it to a lodge or something before we start having our fun. Sound like a deal?
awww thanks- I figured they'd get along, elemental differences notwithstanding
[A pause, and then-]
...wait, can you actually do that?
