Because there aren't enough Lokis around already

[ I'm saying this right now that he's based on the movies/whatever dribbles of mythology about him I can read up on. I don't plan on reading the comics. ]

'Not planning on reading the comics', you say? How can you possibly capture my voice merely by watching a few hours of my idiotic brother and his Midguard friends cavorting about on the screen?

Nevermind. You've finally picked me up as a muse, dear Mundane. I'll be glad to show that other 'muse' of yours who is the better illusionist.

[ /rolls eyes. Let me know if you want to avoid Dark World spoilers. ]

Oh. I wouldn't worry much about such thing, personally. From what I've heard from your canon's Avengers, there are such fundamental differences between you and my Marvelverse that you're for all purposes a whole character apart from us Lokis from what they call 616.

For instance, your largest issues was being adopted and not knowing your nature, was it not? I've always known. The Loki before me and the Loki after me even remember our biological parents. That makes us all much different people to you to begin with. Your Lady-or-Lord Mundane can't really extrapolate much common characterization from most comic Lokis. Your few hours of silver tongue on the silver screen seems a perfectly fine guideline to me.
