yet another XIV PC, in a constant state of SO EXCITED
[ And she's speaking at a hundred malms a second. ]
So! Teamwork! You handle the keyboard business, and I'll handle the- the whole- ...the whole 'being me' business. I'm good at that! Being me is one of my many talents, you know. Not difficult at all. You just have to start off by being blue and-
-...well, I see why you need me for the whole 'being me' part. Not very blue at all. The ears are all wrong too. I don't think that you're even trying, really.
Oh right! That's not what I was talking about, was it? What was I talking about? Um- Teamwork, right! It's going to be great, promise. You just handle things on that side of the glass - That reminds me, we need to have words about this whole 'standing in red circles' business. I don't think it's very healthy! - and I'll make sure everything's peachy over here.
[ Stop. Breathe. And calmer, warmer: ]
We can do it, don't worry. We're both gonna be just fine. We've handled scarier than an itty bitty little internet, right?

[ She actually considers this
for once, frowning in totally exaggerated thought. ]I don't know. Maybe- maybe all the dragons wanted was to be friends all along! No, maybe not. They might have burned a few too many bridges for that.
Were they still as- [ she gives a gesture which seems to indicate she's asking about something very uncomfortable wedged up the ishgardian's bottoms ] -...grumpy about things before the moon fell? I never saw it before the calamity, it's going to be strange.

...They are just as fervent, yes. Though there were no inquisitors stationed to the Owl's Nest. There is a small number of good [Kind, actually.] men, dragoons and knights, stationed within, [Trapped, actually. Since Ishgard closed it's gates so suddenly] though...
[...Mrrrr. FUNNY STORY THAT. Since where the Owl's nest was is that really lovely huge wall of ice near Whitebrim, close to Behemoth's dominion. You know. The one no-one escaped from. Yep, the knights are all dead five years on; frozen in the wall.]
... Um..
Whitebrim, Dragonhead, and the Observatorium were not built five years ago. Yet it is not all bad news. The Behemoth came with the snows. The worst you should find there is Hippogryphs. ...And Imperials.
yayyyy
[ Oh dear. Oh dear. That's going to be an unpleasant thought when it finally clicks for her. ]
What kind of 'good' are they? The Holy See's kind? Or the- you know. The normal people kind? I'm not much fond of the Holy See's kind of righteous people. They tend to be righteous at... at people smaller than they are.

[Even though it's hopeless. Why? Well, Gridanians are jerkfaces for one.
If braids feels like it, there might be an echo Mir freely offers. A young knight seeking shelter from dragons in the Twelveswood, and an elemental appearing before him, taking his memory, and taking him. As a Conjurer, of Stillglade Fane.
...And the knight turned conjurer eventually uncovering the truth, and attempting to return to his comrades. And the forest throwing everything it could at him to stop him. He returns to the guild, eventually, but swears there will be a day he can return to where he belongs.]
...Coerthas is the least of your problems. At that time... The Twelveswood took what it wanted. Now, the Elementals are waning. They have little power left to them; but back then they were powerful enough to truly take they saw as beneficial to the forest. Please, take all care.

[ ...well. She was smiling before. And she's still smiling, even through the disorientation of coming out of the echo, but it's slightly different now. More pleasant. More deliberate. Like a pretty rug used to hide the bloodstains on the floorboards.
Evidentially, she wasn't quite aware of what the forces she's been playing with for the last 50 levels really are. ]
...the elementals wouldn't.
