..but then the light goes out, and he can't stifle a little shocked sound. The light. He has to fix it, but something is out there. The Lodger tries looking for some kind of escape route in case he has to bolt. ]

(Incidentally, you might want to look into the RP Maison de Portes. It's horror/mystery themed and I was planning on sending Sakuri there myself once I take care of some RL issues.)
