Unnn! I dunno where anything is but let's go find ramen, Naru-Naru!! Let's go!! [ And here's a tiny little hand reaching out to tug on his sleeve! ] And I wanna eat dango too!

[sleeve's tugged, but then he grabs her hand because he can lead faster.]

[ And suddenly there's a tiny little thing zooming up Naru-Naru's back and hanging onto his shoulder! So he's more or less carrying her now! ]

[ Points in a random direction, giggling wildly. ]

[well, piggy-backs are no problem, though she's more on his shoulders than anything. he doesn't care! it's not like she weighs anything at all. besides, his stomach is rumbling, ramen is promised, and there could be a cool spar in the future. life is great.]

Yeah? You see from up there? Hold on tight!

[he's sort of looking off in the direction before deciding with a shrug that it's as good as anything.

so, have that ninja leaping mode of travel that's so common in Naruto canon.]

[ YACHIRU LIKES JUMPING!!! And she likes all the wind in her face! It's fun!!! ]

[ Actually, she pointed in a random direction, just 'cuz. ]

[well, she doesn't have to push him onward too much since he likes going fast too, especially with ramen on the line.]

[so there's a surge of speed and they're still leaping and going and Naruto is squinting into the distance and practically drooling for ramen.]

Do you see it? Any ramen stands?

[ Annnnd Yachiru's suddenly pointing in yet another random direction!!! Cuz this is funn!!! And she likes her new friend! ]

But--!

[she does have the better view, even if she's just a few feet above his own head. so they slide as Naruto lands, and without losing any momentum, they're lurching off in that other direction.]

Really gotta get some ramen soon, y'know! I'm reaaaaaaally hungry.

[SCREEECH go the brakes, or not really since Naruto doesn't have them. they would be screeching though.]

[and he's rushing up to sit down]

[with Yachiru still on his shoulders]

We found it, Naru-Naru!

[ And ooh it smells gooood in here! Yachiru slides off Naru-Naru's shoulder and goes to sit down on a stool next to him! Then adjusts so she's kinda half-kneeling a bit as to raise herself high enough so she can comfortably be seated above the counter. ]

[obstinates]

[he actually sort of jerks in surprise when he hears her again. he'd forgotten she was even there since... ramen. in any case, he grins and nods and slams one hand on the counter.]

Miso with roasted pork, y'know!

[basically he's shouting his order to whoever is in the back.]

"DATTEBAYO!!!!"

[ She shouts after him, mimicking that "y'know" cuz it sounds so funny!!! And plus she wants to eat what he's eating, too!! ]

[obstinates]

[and wouldn't you know it, here comes a couple of bowls of ramen sliding out on the counter.]

Did you say something?

[grabs his chopsticks.]

[ Woops, Yachiru isn't paying attention cuz she's staring at the big steaming bowl of ramen in awe cuz it looks and smells SO GOOD and UWAAA ALL THE NOODLESSS....! She reaches for chopsticks and is trying to figure out where to even begin!! ]

[yeah, his question was more rhetorical anyways because he's already digging in.]

[and time for ramen vacuum no jutsu. he just eats like it's going out of style.]
