oh for the love of -
I had hoped that you would know better; strength of discipline is a wonderful trait, and I'm disappointed that you don't seem to have a grasp on it. I can't stand the thought of wasted potential, you know that much to be true; if you're going to do anything with this, then you're going to do it properly or it's a futile action.
The way I see it, our duties and priorities both direct us elsewhere, anyway; you're aware that I have goals that must be seen out. Furthermore, surely you understand the importance of those goals; the ugliness that darkens the world cannot be allowed to spread, to pervade what little still remains pure...!
You argue with my methods, but sending me here - or anywhere else, for that matter - isn't going to deter those goals from being carried out; I'll be utilizing those methods, whether you agree with them or not. So shall I ask what it is that you hope to achieve? Or are you going to make that into just another futile action?

...Methods, though? Ya run some kinda nature preservin' deal, or what?
no subject
[Nature preserving - oh, you sweet summer child.]
But that line of thinking, before - that beauty can only exist in contrast to ugliness...it's an undeniable truth, what with the way the world is now. I just don't believe it to be a natural truth; beauty shouldn't be remarkable simply because it exists, simply because it isn't ugliness.

Without the dark - or ugly - there would be no light. I know you do not understand this, but...
no subject
Oh, I understand very well - however, do you ever consider why that's simply accepted as the natural state of things? Or do you simply accept it without question?
(no subject)

eeeeeee
[Oh, wait, sorry, channeling her Delphox there for a second.]
The world is only dark because people like you make it so. Did you learn nothing from AZ's story? Destroying so many lives brings nothing but grief and ruin. Shame on you, Lysandre.
[It's time for Moral Scolding from a 14-Year Old.]

It's a shame that your perspective would be so lacking when your convictions are so powerful - after all, there are many lessons to be taken away from that story you cite.

I hovertext my French if I'm going more than a word or two.
Ooh, cool! Roger that.
Makes everyone's lives a little easier, I find!
Plus: learning new French phrases! Which is awesome.
My level of fluency is actually pretty high, so I'm glad to get to use it, haha.

How can you call team flare beautiful?

Color notwithstanding because jfc Lysandre are you trying to blind everyone...]If I thought it too extreme - and if I didn't believe Team Flare to be capable of restoring the world to a more uncorrupted state - then I wouldn't have been carrying that goal out in the first place.
Goals like that...they tend to stem from necessity, not desire.

I need to beat the game. I've been avoiding battling the elite four. orz
oh maaan, beat the game. there's a cutscene afterwards that makes everything worth it.
Is it going to bring tears to my eyes? Because I am a manly (wo)man .___.
Probably! But they are good tears.
Alright! I'll do it! But, did you see the elevator girl?
kind of wish i hadn't tbh :|
: | I saw her at 2 am.... No sleep, just searching for her.
...good job
I just.....Wanted to find her...Then decided to travel and ended up finishing off eevee elvolution.

my apologies, but you don't want that with mine; ooc issues between us. d_m threading is fine by me.

You're from that group of fanatics, aren't you - the set that caused the disturbance in the Sinnoh region.

You're another one of those types. Why can't there be a region without a genocidal lunatic.
[Don't forget Team Flare's suits. They're just...]
Not the point, mun. There's no beauty in killing people and Pokemon.

spoilers up in here
[But what are you doing here? No, better question, how are you alive?]
What...? How did you...?
[...Maybe he'd be better off not knowing.]
You're still going on about all that, huh? I can't really say I'm surprised. You're always so passionate about what you believe in.
[He shoves his hands in his pockets and smiles, though it's a distant sort of smile.]
I'm sorry. I should have seen what you were trying to do earlier. Maybe I could have stepped in and stopped it. But then again, you're very dedicated to your goals, aren't you? You wouldn't have listened to me.
no subject
He's not liking the tone this conversation's taking, it's setting him on-edge already; he closes his eyes for a moment, just long enough to resettle and ignore the general sense of this isn't good.]

They'll get as far as they need to either way; I don't doubt that much.
