No, I'm an orphan.

But I was lucky to be taken in by Sir Ector and trained to be a squire. Then Merlin started teaching me things.

[Which... didn't work out all the way. Merlin was patient though.]

[Her expression changes from its smile to a serious and concerned one again.]

Tell me, child... how much has he taught you about being king before he left?

Merlin... didn't teach me much before he left for Bermuda. He just got back when I was crowned and hasn't really taught me anything yet.

No, no, that's definitely no good. You say he left on vacation and only came back after you were crowned King?

[Her disappointment is clear in her voice, but just for emphasis, she shakes her head and tsks.]

That's the time you needed him the most, or at least some teacher. And now you're here, and he's not. You've been granted more time to learn these things and he's abandoned you again!

Y-yeah, he did leave me, but I was sort of the reason why. I think I did something wrong, but I guess he wanted me to be king all along.

...But I guess he's not here, or Archimedes. I guess I need a new teacher now.
