Well! This is quite the honor, Miss Mundane. To think that you've decided to portray me when you're already so taken with one of team RWBY--
Oh, no I'm sorry! I hope I did not come across as ungrateful! I just wanted to be sure you really wanted to...
Well. If you are certain, then I will gladly lend myself to your cause.

...nnnnno, I don't think Jaune would appreciate being referred to as one, actually.

[He sighs.]
I'm not really sure what to do about this.
no subject
[She sighs as well, shaking her head.]
I do not either. Besides encouraging him to the best of my ability and offering him moral support, he has made it abundantly clear that too much of my attempts to help him will not be appreciated.
I have never had to deal with anything like it before.

[Shoulders slumping, and for once most of Pyrrha's cheer is gone.]
Do you have any ideas, Ren?
no subject
[It's hard to tell what would help Jaune rather than just push him away. All Ren knows for sure is that he needs to learn that help doesn't mean you're weak.]
Although I'm liking Nora's suggestion a little more than I probably should.

[She manages a half-smile at him.]
Do you think we could manage to make it look like an unfortunate sparring accident?

She's gotten a surprising amount of talking out of him.
I will consider this a great success then
[She smiles at him again, nervously this time.]
She is terribly sweet, but-- well, I fear the leg-breaking may not look so accidental if she has any say.

[With Nora, it'd probably end up being a lot more than just the legs.]
no subject
[She is counting on you, Ren.]
no subject
[He'll try though.]

[After all, he's the Nora expert.]

Meaning, if Cardin ever shows up, we can all take turns breaking his legs with no repercussions.
[Clearly this is the best thing ever.]
no subject
[A sigh.]
We should let him.

I know... but... he just makes my blood boil every time I see him...

As a 'cause', Jaune.

Do you think I am one?
no subject
[Said with perhaps a little more force than necessary. She looks immediately contrite, but shakes her head.]
You are not... not a 'cause', Jaune. But if you need help, shouldn't your teammates be able to support you in at least that much? We cannot fight your battles for you unless you let us, however...
However if you would let us- let me- you can at least be prepared to fight them yourself.

I know you don't want to be seen as weak, but... it isn't weak to need help, Jaune. It is a greater weakness to be unable to allow others to help you.
no subject
And that's easy for you to say, Pyrrha. You are strong and accomplished. No one will ever think otherwise of you. No one will ever think that Nora and Ren are weak either.
If I can get stronger, actually do something on my own without needing someones help, then maybe I might start to feel like I deserve to go to Beacon.

[She frowns slightly then, pressing her lips together like she wants to say something, but doesn't. Instead she just nods and lets out a quiet sigh.]
In the end, it's up to you what you choose to do. But... please do not think I offered to help you because I think you are weak or lacking in any way, Jaune. I offered to help because I honestly believe you are capable of so much- and I want everyone else, especially Cardin, to see it too.
no subject
I hope that you are right. [He opens his mouth like he wants to say something, maybe thank her for believing in him and trying to help, but he can't really find the words.]
no subject
[She hesitates for a moment, and then reaches for his hand, smiling.]
You'll see it too, eventually.
no subject
Thank you, Pyrrha.
no subject
[She squeezes his hand.]
It is what friends are for, right?
no subject
I don't think I've been the greatest one to you, though.
[ooc: Also. Totally <3 this thread and your Pyrrha.]
no subject
[She smiles.]
Besides, I do not think I would be the sort of person I am if I let something keep me down for very long.
[ooc: thank you, your Jaune is precious, <3!]
no subject
Just keep everything hat happened between me and you. I don't need more people finding out that I lied my way into the Academy.
[ooc: Ty!]
no subject
[Unless something, for whatever reason, necessitated it. But she doubts it.]
You can trust me, Jaune.
no subject
Alright. I know that I can trust you.
