[Max starts growling and looking as fierce as he possibly can.]

[She frowns and gives the dog a threatening look when Eric isn't looking. Of course he'd have the mutt with him.]

[The way he says her name makes it obvious he knows her true identity.]

[Oh well, such a shame, but it was worth a try. Fortunately, her mun has allowed her to live, though under strict contractual terms that she's none-to-happy about. Still, for as long as she's alive, she'll have a chance to get what she wants. Though she understands the limits of her magic in this... odd place, and that no amount of her power would be of any affect if these 'muns' didn't want there to be.]

Fine. Though, I don't know why the ruler of the ocean was that important to you. I would have been happy to return your dear sweetfish to you if you hadn't interrupted....

How very rude; making an assumption like that before you even know the person. I would think a prince would have been raised with better manners than that!

[And since she's in human form, she's able to pull off the affronted pout more easily than she was able to in her real form.]

[Ariel? Turns out Ariel is just a happy to see Eric. With a giggle, she calls out his name.]

[Eric dashes over to meet her. Predictably, Max gets there first, licking Ariel's face in greeting.]

[That only makes her laugh harder, her hands petting him before she looks up at the approaching Eric.]

Eric. [She says his name again, still happy to be able to say it to him.] I'm so glad I found you! This place is so big and..and... you're going somewhere?

Yes, I am! And I was hoping that maybe you'd come with me!

[Hey look, another Ariel! Unfortunately, this one is stuck in the bay area of wherever, but she waves to him all the same.]

Eric!

[voice_seeker]

Ariel! Hey!

[Eric pauses awkwardly.]

Uh...should I...do you want me to get a boat to come closer in?

Uh....I can get on land, just...give me a second!

[And in a minute or two, she's on the beach, tail still submerged in water. ]

I've missed you.

[Eric wraps his arms around her shoulders in an embrace.]

I missed you too! But I've found some possible places for us to be together in!

Really? It sounds great!

[But she bites her lip.]

I don't know if I could, though....my mun is pretty busy. She has this thing called school.

Well, my future in any of these places isn't a sure thing either. We're just gonna have to see how things turn out.
