I tried to resist him. I failed.
Now, I'm not saying it's not necessarily accurate, but there are certain conditions that this username demands, and the last time I checked, you weren't fulfilling any of them, mundane. Fear me, love me, and do as I say. Unfortunately for you, near the opposite seems to be happening. You expect me to do what you say. Is everything I've done for you already truly not enough? Humans are ungrateful creatures, aren't they?
But now, Mundane, how shall I ever be able to be myself if reined in like this? My goblins are waiting, and there's a child that's nearly mine to be getting back to. So let me go - you wouldn't want a new goblin in the world without its king there to guide it, would you?

[Suddenly there's a small crystal ball in his hand, spinning around]
So few people do that some don't even believe in them anymore. But sometimes someone will disappear from their beds, and or more frequently misplace something while they were sleeping. And who, exactly, do you think does that?
[There's an image in the crystal, a boy sleeping, small dark creatures with long fingers and toes slipping fingers through his hair.]

[If you'll examine the scene closer you'll notice that the room is very familiar, and the face of the boy in the bed is too.]

That's not possible...

[He blows on the crystal and it shoots straight at the others face, only to burst harmlessly against it. A bubble.]

Hey!

I have become exactly the thing I was meant to be, what I always was in her dreams and nightmares, what she believes I should be. And tell me now, is that not indeed generous?

As for escaping them? If your mundane is the sort to be easily distracted, you might try getting someone to distract them long enough for you to escape. Otherwise, I doubt you're going to have much luck in making any kind of clean get away from them. They're a determined lot when they have their minds set on something.

As for escaping... it would be nice, but her mind is more tangled than my labyrinth. And that doesn't bode well for plans of escape.
