We're going to ignore Nautilus for the time being. I know you take pride in making my life even worse there, but I'd rather skip discussing about it for the time being. My sight is currently set on this Academy game.

So, you have me signed up as Security and as a Nightmare Trainer. No, no! I think those are perfect positions for the time being. While I have the misfortune of actually having to look after children, and worst of all, teenagers, well... that's a lesser evil to deal with. I'm sure my Nightmares will handle them accordingly.

Besides, this will give me some time to... research.

I don't think it will be so bad, though I'd like to think most everyone would follow the school rules.

However, it's nice to know that we'll have someone handling two very important jobs; I hope it won't be too much of a handful for you, teenagers or not.

But of course. We have to keep the inhabitants of the Academy safe. That Mist can be very troublesome, from what I have heard.

[He smiles and shrugs.]

I'm sure I can handle it for now. Then again, other security personnel may come along. Lessen my load a little.

I think troublesome might be putting it lightly. It doesn't exactly sound anything short of ruthless.

[That said, it's rather relieving to know someone on the security team isn't intimidated by such a threat.]

I'll keep my fingers crossed that just a matter of time. I know it's going to be a handful for all staff members in the beginning, but I'm hoping we'll all pull through fine.

Though I'm not so sure it's "new", per say. Some of my mundande's... other familiars have been in the setting before; they're nowhere near as optimistic.

They've said that the Academy is never as safe of a location as it claims to be, both internally and externally.

I'm not quite sure what they mean by that, but they've insisted on it.

I wouldn't think it would be. From what I've noticed, the Mist seems to occur there the most.

It occurs in many places quite frequently. One of my headmates claims that it stayed over the deserts of the Middle Kingdom for almost a year, far longer than all the Academy occurrences combined.
