Half truths is also a reference to her social relationship to both Hannibal as her professional colleague and Hannibal as her un-confessed (only) friend. The little lies they tell each other, though neither is sure if it is to protect the other or to protect themselves. Probably a bit of both. Mostly, she grows weary of games.
