A squid girl is annoyed
[Move your cursor over the little bouncing icon for a quick translation!]
Oh, so NOW you want to do something with me? I thought that you were content to go about with your various games and other characters. Far be it from me to criticize, but I am not an individual that you can just drop and pick up again at a whim. In fact, you are lucky I don't cause your head to spontaneously cave in even though that is what you truly deserve. I only do this because then I, as an extension of the link that we share, would also cease to be and that would me my attempts at discovering meaning in this disease known as order would be at an end.
How lucky for the both of us. Mostly for you, because I find the situation rather dismal.
Back to the subject at hand, I know that you are trying to find a home for me, but perhaps this would be a more appropriate place? After all, it is the nexus between several dimensions. I find familiarity in the transience of the population, and the chaotic nature of this realm is sufficient for my studies. I do understand that this would mean the environment would shift at a moment's notice, but I'm not interested in understanding about the world so much as it's residents.
Consider that, while I attempt to find another way to brutalize you in a way that is satisfying to my ego.

Besides...Humans reproduce out of necessity - Demons reproduce for amusement.

So late...SORRY!! :(
We are quite terrible when crossed, take that fact to heart. There is nothing like the anger of a Demon...
s'okay xD

Sorry to have to be the one to inform you of this.

In the simplest sense, all I have to do is.
[She snaps her finger and a huge, grenade-sized explosion erupts with no real source.]
The less simple but strongest effect I would not like to do, as I rather enjoy your company and would not want to cause you undue harm.
no subject
I will take that as a compliment I suppose. I think we make better allies than enemies at any rate.
no subject
Come with me.
no subject
You pay me such insults then demand I accompany you? I think not...
I do not wish to make an enemy of you, but continue to aggravate me, and I will become cross.......
no subject
That you would think of otherwise only speaks of your ignorance, which I will provide it to you plainly.
Do not worry, I do not wish to do you harm. Only to educate.
no subject
That being said though, I am indeed curious: How do you determine superiority amidst your own kind?
no subject
[Her hand runs a line in the air almost as though cloth was split. Except this cloth is reality. She walks up, through, and into the black abyss.]
Come and see.

[Stay true and indulge your curiosity: A Scanty and Kneesocks rule.]
....very well.
[Tentatively, she follows.]
no subject
[Then her voice appears. Only now that they are in her realm the ill-resonating tone is pitch-clear.]
There now. I suppose before we begin I should welcome you to my sanctuary. Not very many people are allowed into one of my kind's realm and leave safely. You will be one of the exceptions, HEHEHE.
[...her laugh seems sharp and piercing now. Which is may or may not be better than her discordant one.]
no subject
[She glances around a few times, then realizing this is a fruitless effort, she stops and chuckles to herself.]
So you reside in darkness, or you are darkness itself?
no subject
[With that word dozens, hundreds, thousands of little lights begin to appear in the horizon. At first there is no discernible pattern but as more begin to appear so to does the constellations. Then a huge light appears and besides a few smaller orbs circling around it. Strangely the "floor" if that is what it is anymore remains consistent.]
[As the blue orb appears it, along with everything else, moves toward it. The blue orb enlarges and Scanty is greeted with a view that gave a few men in a flying can pause.]
Look familiar, yes?
no subject
So...you're from space?
[She had assumed that her companion was akin to her - like a Demon, perhaps. But from another dimension.]
[But this was...not what she expected...]
no subject
[With that said, the world you know and
ruthlessly antagonizelove begins to move away. Further and further, quicker and quicker. A ring of meteors swoop past followed closely by a giant gaseous planet, moves past and vanishes into the horizon line that is the sun. Soon even the outer planets appear, disappear, and becomes consumed into the dimming light of the sun.]Now, mind yourself, we will be moving much quicker soon.
no subject
I'll keep that in mind...
[Being so far from the ground and being within inches of meteors is not usually Scanty's idea of a good time. But she's experiencing something she never has before - and she finds herself paradoxically excited.]
no subject
[Yg'bagladoth's voice is musing, almost sing-song when she offers these words to Scanty:]
Say good-bye!
[And with that it becomes a dot of light in the distance. It and the other blurs of light which can only be other galaxies.]
no subject
...oh...oh my...
[Very few sights can render her so speechless!!]

[Only it starts to begin... at first it is like a ripple. Scarcely visible to the naked eye. But as the time passes the ripples get worse. Like the flickering distortion of the air that eyes see in the presence of heat. But then there are pulses of light. Strange pulses that doesn't make sense. How can light exist in the absence of everything? And yet not only does this happen, it happens frequently. Lingering things. Creeping things begin to flickery and skitter in the folds of the moving light and space. The dark things that people fear even having never seen them. Then more creatures. Most look like those creatures that appear in the deep sea, but then there are hideous, horrendous things that begin to appear as small as a fist then as big as a dog. Were Scanty able to look the edge of the universe begins to appear. And what lies beyond is a gigantic undulating thing. Neither sentient nor inanimate. Constantly moving and shifting. And then the real monsters appear. Some as big as Scanty... and some that are so big they seem grasp the edges of the universe within it's clutches.]
[It is only then that the familiar figure appears besides Scanty as though she had never left.]
I'm home. [She grins.]
no subject
To think that such a place could exist...
[Scanty jumps, startled as Yg'baladoth appears again. She chuckles a bit at the comment.]
It's cozy.
[It is a lot of things. Cozy is not one of them.]
no subject
[She floats and expresses a wave.]
In this place time, space, energy, life, and death blend. The order and organization that you know of no longer exists. In truth this is only an echo of it, as it is the memory of my home. No matter what it is a pale comparison. In truth I am withholding much. There is sound, constant and incessant. The waving pulse of time and space folding on each other. The sound of the clawing things grinding their teeth and consuming. Constant movement that extends from what you know into forever.
no subject
They would have to combine and blend, as you say...otherwise anything that dwelled here would succumb to madness.
No time, no aging...does that mean that 'creatures of order' as you call them, when plucked from their worlds and brought here are frozen in time? In other words, if I remained here forever I would never age?
[Not that she's suggesting such a thing, truth be told she's anxious for solid ground...]
