I always liked Stravinsky— the dissonances, the brutal rhythms.

The music that doesn't end when you switch it off or walk out of the performance hall. Which stays with you.

It's the way it seems at odds with itself— two rhythms, driving against each other. Two notes, that sound like they don't match. But they do.
