...Really? Your finally making this after fighting me off for eight months? Wha... of course I'm not saying that I want to stay in your head-space. I am glad that you finally made it. And I am not whining over it! I was just pointing it out.
[Clears throat] Anyways, I am glad to finally be out, thank you. And I am glad that you decided to wait until the season was over, even though watching you do things to my brother wasn't fun. We still need to... discuss that by the way.... Ugh, fine I'll do it in your head where no one can hear. But you know exactly what you did and i know what your planning, and you better not do it. Otherwise, we will have words mun.
By the way, you are gonna change the journal name, right? What do you mean no?!

Oh, it's you. What do you want Karai?
no subject
If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm not going to be the one to spoil the ending.
no subject
Oh I know exactly what you want, and you got it. So now you can leave me alone.
no subject
You always did know how to make a girl feel welcome.

[Chin in hands, she waves a dismissive hand in the air.]
Tell me something we both don't already know. I'll wait.

[He turned so that Karai only saw the back of his shell. If she wanted to stand there and try to provoke him, fine. He wasn't going to make the mistake of speaking and ending up liking her for a third time.]
no subject
[For her, it wasn't about like or dislike so much as it was about what interested her. And, let's be honest. For a trained kunoichi of her caliber, the nighttime streets of New York were a bore. Her father's missions were a bore. Revenge revenge revenge. Revenge was all fine and well, but that left very little to do in the downtime.]
Funny how you keep acting like you're the noble one here, Leo. [Her eyes narrowed a fraction before she caught herself and shrugged it off.] At least I'm not the one pretending to be something I'm not.
no subject
I don't know what your talking about Karai. I don't pretend to be anything that I'm not.
no subject
Oh, really?
You're doing it right now.
no subject
I'm not doing anything.
no subject
Yes. You are.
What I can't tell is if you're that desperate to cling to your lie...or if you've actually managed to delude yourself into thinking its true.

[He knows that she was trying to provoke him... again. He knew that he should either just leave while eh can or ignore her. But the temptation of drawing his katana blades was already hitting him.]
no subject
[He was tensing up. Itching to attack. She could feel it in the air. Her own muscles were starting to twitch with anticipation; for once, she wanted him to make the first move. It was only fair.]
no subject
In the blink of an eye, one of the two katana blade's were int he blue-banded turtle's hand. He jumped forward, launching himself at the older teen. When close enough, he swung the sword down.]
no subject
Now that's more like it.
I guess some things really never do change.
Sorry, I tagged with the wrong muse
That was why he had been drawn to Karai so long ago now. She had given him a chance to release the stress and adrenaline that he had been carrying. She allowed him the sense of freedom that leadership had stripped him of. She offered him an escape form everything, and ti was because of it that he so readily trusted her.
He knew better now.]
They look alike
[There was no time to think in the heat of battle. You only reacted. A blow here. A thrust there. Body struggling to maintain balance as your feet sought whatever grip they could find. Emotions would only slow you down. This--at their level of fighting--was pure instinct.]
[Exactly what she needed,]
[Her posture remained relaxed. Fluid. Eagerly anticipating his next move. When it came, she was ready. Scanning evey inch of his mutant, yet still so very human(oid) form, for that one tell. He gave away far more than he realized. It was how she was always able to stay one step ahead of him. No poker face.]
Careful, Leo. Your ego's showing.
[Advice disguised in the form of a thinly-veiled insult. Let's see if he would heed it, or dismiss her words altogether.]
Yep, too alike sometimes
It was strange, he knew that she was the enemy, the daughter of the one who ruined his sensei's life. He knew that he couldn't trust her, even if he had to learn it the hard way. That was probably why he allowed Raph to convince him to betray her, knowing that she would only turn on him again. Even though he had felt bad for it, he had to accept it. But he still wanted that distraction, and right now the kunoichi was again giving it to him. And he couldn't resist it.
He drew the second katana out of it's scabbard, continuing his onslaught. Right now all eh wanted to do was release the adrenaline that was just screaming to be let out. The adrenaline that only Karai seemed to know how to provoke]

[Bring it]

[With both swords in his hands, Leo struck again. He launched one katana first, anticipating it to be blocked. He had the second blade ready and whether the first was blocked or not, he thrust it right at Karai's face.]
no subject
[Holding him off at mere inches from her face; the second blade is dodgable, but she has to slide her entire body downward. It was risky, and if she took even a second too long, he could have her pinned. But Karai was nothing if not confident, and dropped to twist both her legs around his knees, pulling him down with her.]
no subject
When he felt Karai lock his knees, he already knew what was coming. But he couldn't get out of it in time, so he hit the ground right along with the kunoichi. But he didn't waste a second, forcing himself to turn over so that he was pinning Karai and pointing a katana at her throat. He merely glared down at her.]
no subject
[There was a flash of surprise when he pinned her, but only for a split second. Soon enough, she once more relaxed in his grip. Even though his weight against her chest made it more than a little difficult to breathe.]
You got me. I'm impressed.
So what happens now?
[She didn't really think he was going to kill her. He wouldn't.]
