...Really? Your finally making this after fighting me off for eight months? Wha... of course I'm not saying that I want to stay in your head-space. I am glad that you finally made it. And I am not whining over it! I was just pointing it out.

[Clears throat] Anyways, I am glad to finally be out, thank you. And I am glad that you decided to wait until the season was over, even though watching you do things to my brother wasn't fun. We still need to... discuss that by the way.... Ugh, fine I'll do it in your head where no one can hear. But you know exactly what you did and i know what your planning, and you better not do it. Otherwise, we will have words mun.

By the way, you are gonna change the journal name, right? What do you mean no?!

You don't know anything about me, despite what you may think. So quit acting like you do.

[He pushed the blade closer to emphasise the point. Not enough that he was ready to cast a death blow, but enough to get the message that he had heard enough across.]

[How cute. He thinks a girl who's trained by the blade her entire life would back down just because he gives her a little push. To his credit, she does give a slight inhale of breath as the edges make contact with her skin. One twitch away from drawing blood.]

I've never been that good of an actress.

Yeah? Well it doesn't matter, I told you what I'm going to do.

[He lowered the katana and sheathed it. But he still held the other one tightly his hand. He turned and started to walk away.]

You can do what you want Karai, you always do. But I'm through.

[Bending down, she picked up her own blade and sheathed it. Slow and deliberate. No way he wouldn't be able to hear her disarming herself.]

[She wanted to see what he would do.]

You said that the last time. And the time before that.

Face it. You're a hypocrite. And not just when it comes to me.

[He froze, his grip tightening around the hilt of his katana. He turned around, the calm anger now being replaced with out-right frustration.]

I'm a hypocrite?! As if your one to talk! So don't even start that with me!

Actually...I'm amoral, probably. And the bad guy. Very bad. I steal, I cheat, and I make all the wrong decisions. I admit it. But a hypocrite?

That would involve lying. And lying is the one crime you can't pin on me.

[The anger within Leo died down a bit at this. Okay, maybe that was true. And she was right, she hadn't lied to him. But all the talk of her being the bad guy only made him feel more justified in his previous action. Sure, he hated that he did it and lost any chance that he had at getting her on his side, but he had had to.]

Your right, about all of it. You are the bad guy. And that's why I had to do what I did. Because you would have just done it to us and went back to trying to kill us once it was all over and done with.

[Not about the important things. Not like he had.]

You're making excuses to cover up what you did. Because you don't want to admit that you're even worse than we are.

[Even amongst villainous kunoichi, there was some semblance of honor. Leo...in her eyes...had no honor. He did what he did and tried to justify his words and actions, rather than own up to them.]

[He narrowed his eyes. He had honor, plenty of it. But his loyalties lied to his family first, and he would do anything to protect them. Even if it meant going against his honor and his word, his family came first.]

Think what you want about me Karai, maybe I am. But I did what I did to protect my family from your clan. That's all that I care about.

[And at least my father is a good man, unlike yours.. He almost said that, but he chose not to. There was no need to bring that up.]

[Not as good as you think.]

[She wouldn't bring that up here, now. Why spoil the moment?]

Then you finally admit it.

It's about time. I was starting to choke on that high-and-mighty attitude of yours.

Yeah, fine. You want me to admit it? Fine! What I did was stupid and wrong! But I'm not being high-and-mighty, and I didn't like doing what I did! I had to do it, for my family's sake! I had to take the chance of finally getting rid of Shredder and not live in fear of being killed!

[He had tried to hold his frustration in, but he simply couldn't now. He had felt horrible for what he did when he did it, but ti was as Raph told him, Karai was Shredder's daughter and eventually she would have gone back to trying to kill them all. And if Karai hadn't seen Mikey fire Donnie's device, then Shredder would be out of the way and it would have been worth it.

But it didn't work out that way, and now everything that he felt because of it were hitting him at full force.]

[Karai didn't move. She didn't blink. She didn't frown or smile or give any of her usual indicators towards what she was feeling. Because she didn't know.]

[That was it. Right there. Once more, she got what she wanted out of him. He finally admitted he was wrong. It was her victory.]

[But now what?]

You think it's alright just because you have the right motives? That the end justifies the means?

Well...what if we have the same motives?

[Leo opened his mouth to talk, but nothing came out. He didn't know how to say what he wanted. Maybe it wasn't alright, he wouldn't deny that what he did was wrong. And he didn't know the Foot's motives besides trying to kill him and his family all over pety revenge. That was it.]

I don't know anything about your clan aside form wanting us dead. So I honestly can't give you an answer.

[She should be taking pleasure in this. Talk about your come-from behind victory. But...for some reason...she couldn't.]

Maybe we really aren't so different after all.

Think about that.

[This time, it was Karai's turn to leave. They were approaching dangerous territory now. Things she didn't want to think about. Or admit to anyone, let alone him. He was supposed to be her distraction, not her reminder.]
