I'm used to it here; the darkness doesn't bother me, the silence is now comforting, the chill something I bear without notice. But you! You want to send me back. You want me to follow him into the light and then tear me from him for your own amusement - oh, yes. You call them "games" for good reason, despite your nonchalance. [Eurydice sits with a graceful tumble, her legs folding beneath her, her chiton billowing only for a moment before it settles around her thighs. Folding her hands in her lap, she fidgets absently with the material, watching him converse. She hadn't considered that people would mock her beloved for turning too soon - but she also hadn't considered that such a peculiar passage of time would occur, either. If people wish to mock a love so great that desperation drove a man to ask the god of death himself to stay his sentence, and was then tricked into failure, then they deserve whatever unhappiness is in their lives. Eurydice firmly believes that Orpheus turning around was sheerest accident of timing, orchestrated by Hades' desire to keep all souls who pass into his domain in their place.
