...this is a terrible idea.

I'm used to it here; the darkness doesn't bother me, the silence is now comforting, the chill something I bear without notice. But you! You want to send me back. Together, I don't see how we could fail.

[He turns his face to kiss the inside of her wrist.]

We can't. [His lips prompt a shiver, and she laughs softly.] My skin is relearning your touch, look.

[Smiling, he presses his cheek to her arm, kissing over her skin.]

I will revel in teaching it.

You'll find me an avid student. [Her legs wrap around his waist, and she holds him close.] You smell almost the same... sunlight and springtime - but there's something else there. It's unfamiliar.

You always have been. [His arms wrap loosely around her, encouraging closeness.]
