Lady Mundane, I do realize you have the most important of evaluations next Freyja's Day, and I wish you the best of lucks. But I am still bored. So are you. I'm glad you decided that I and the other young ones in your head are stuck in a time-altered cave in a quest of sorts, sure. Nice to know I'm not in limbo while all the cool things are happening and I'm missing a lot of bonding with my CR, sure. My companions are charming and tough enough to make this place bearable (oh no, are the shadow bear-boy's puns rubbing in?) but I miss my friends and family too? Thor of the Cinematic Universe was dropped while we were gone. Leah must be missing my noise. Steve and Tony of the Cinematic should be worried by my absence. Those events seem so fantastic and we're missing out the--

--We're getting presents? I'm getting a new puppy?! It's ordinary, not of the backstabbing variety, and a cute corgi to boot? Can I name him Thorgi?

Awesomeness! Very well, I shall wait and exercise my patience. Nevermind that making a post in this community will distract you and it's past one in the morrow in your timezone.

What mischief are you getting into little lie-smith? Or is it more what mischief you are being kept from?

Neither! I'm up to no mischief, madam, beyond helping to distract the fellow muses my Mundane plays. And that's more public service than mischief IMO as it's also ruining my summer. Why must everyone assume I'm pulling something bad or planning to?

(It's a rhetoric question, of course.)

Yes, yes, that's why it's rhetoric. I get plenty of those all the time and with good reason. Legacy of Loki if you will? Still... it can bum you out, especially if you're actually doing something good instead. Not that many would believe that to be possible.

May I ask what kind of things that Loki did to you? Just out of curiosity.

[Ooh, hello Thor from another dimension!] You need to protest not, brother. Did you know there are many names in Nordic countries in Midgard that start by Thor? When you choose a name, you want the person or animal to have the qualities it possesses. And the folks called Vikings wanted their children to be brave warriors! I don't believe there's a name derived from Loki's, but I can't blame them.

Besides, I was assured this is a fine -yet small- good dog that won't put your name to much shame. I also named my first puppy after you (well, my dimension's you) but... he didn't live up to it...
