Though I am uncertain as to exactly how necessary my help is, mundane, I am glad to lend it. However, I do not need to linger too long. I have important duties at the Watchtower to take care of.

That is good. [J'onn nods. Given the way she spoke of them, he figures it's safe to assume they're not like the Justice Lords.] Things will likely work out, then.

I hope so. I recently found out Luthor was there. [Sure, he kinda helped save the world, but damn if she doesn't want to punch him a few times.]

[Unfortunately, J'onn is from before that point, so Luthor is still kind of a sore point.]

Hmmn. Well, I don't have to tell you to be wary. You know as well as I do just how cunning he is.

[To be fair, he always is.] That I know all too well. Galatea is there, too. She's the only one there from our universe.

[Despite the grim discussion, a smile spreads on her face.] So it's calming to see a friendly face that actually knows me here.

Galatea? That is a name I am unfamiliar with.

[J'onn makes a slightly annoyed face.] If I should know her, however, that coupled with your unfamiliar costume... I believe we may be from different points in time.

So you're from just after the Thanagarians left Earth, I'm guessing. [That was months ago for her, but with happenings on the turtle, those memories have been drudged up and are still fresh on her mind, too.]

Yes. We are still in the process of building the new Watchtower and expanding the League.

[This is a little awkward.] Believe me, you all do a great job at both of those things.

It is good to know that the effort will be worth it, then.

While this situation certainly piques my curiosity on other matters, I am better off being ignorant of what exactly the future holds.

Don't worry, I'm not about to go messing with timelines or whatever. [She grins.] Besides, it'll mean more when you experience it yourself.

[He frowns now, though.] Much as I would like to offer my assistance with this 'game' situation, however, it seems the limitations of this place prevent me from doing so.

[Her arms are crossed, a casual shrug as though she brushes it off like no big deal. Which is quite far from the truth, but she'd rather not worry him when he can't do anything about it at the moment.] I'll be fine, I can take care of myself. I'd rather avoid having any of you come here, if it can be helped.

[There's an understanding nod, but a slight frown of frustration. He knows that attitude far too well, from both Shayera and the others. He does trust her judgement on that point, but as stubborn as that way of thinking is, so is the desire to lend aid.]

Unfortunate, but understandable, given the knowledge I have gleaned from my mundane regarding these 'games'.

Yeah, they're not exactly roses and sunshine. [Then again, neither was life back home. But they weren't trapped, either.] Just be glad you get to hang around here.

[Not that she'll admit having someone who knows her at Tu Shanshu would be a comfort.]
